Perfect weight - shirt is great for wearing over a t shirt in cooler weather. I like over-size shirts, so the men's large is a perfect size for me as a female!

Great shirt

Have worn these style of LL Bean flannel shirts for over 20 years. We don't abuse them and launder them according to directions. No undue shrinking, pilling or any of that. Buttons are strong. The selection of tartans is great. Only comment would be that the proportion of sleeve length to chest and stomach results in us older, heavier guys having sleeves that are a cuff-length too long when we order the chest/stomach that we need. I need a size large for my torso, but the sleeves are too long. I just fasten the buttons and then fold the cuff back once. An alternative would be to re-sew the cuff buttons to get a tighter fit around the wrist to keep the cuffs from slipping down over my hands.

Good fit, very comfortable fabric, bold colors. It is good to be able to get a large tall as I usually do not find it easy to get a good sleeve length from other sources...mine is 36-37. This is one of several LL Bean shirts I have - and they are all a fine product.

Bean never disappoints when it comes to flannel. I often prefer men's clothes for the fit and quality. I like shirts with some room that still have a sharp look. This fits the bill. Its a great, soft, solidly made shirt. I'm still wearing my last Bean shirt I bought 8 years ago. Highly recommend if comfort and warmth is your goal.

The plaid flannel shirt is made of a high quality, thick cotton. Soft, comfortable, and warm. It's good looking and does the trick to keep the chill off. I'm so glad to add this to my wardrobe.

I ordered the large and the extra large in Dress Campbell, to wear with a t shirt underneath, with jeans. I like mens shirts because I like the extra room, and I just roll up the sleeves. When the shirts arrived, the fabric and colors are gorgeous. They were both true to size. I washed both, and there was the usual slight shrinkage you would expect. I LOVE them. The fabric is thick and soft, and compared to the numerous other mens flannel shirts I have bought over the years, they are true to size. I'm in love with LL Bean. I'm happy with every purchase I've made. You have a customer for life!

I've bought these flannel shirts for the last 20+ years and am always happy. Very comfortable, and a good fit for me. Right now, I have five of them in different colors, and usually wear them every day in the fall/winter. I don't think you can go wrong with these.

This Scotch plaid flannel shirt is probably the 6-7th that I have bought. I really like the style, fit, and comfort. The authentic tartans are cool too. I actually had this shirt a long time ago but outgrew it. I would highly recommend this shirt to anyone wanting a warm shirt for a business casual office or on the weekends.

This is an amazingly soft comfortable classic flannel shirt. Unlike the flannel shirts I bought from a competing big name manufacturer, this flannel holds up to repeated washing without excess shrinking. Going forward I will buy only LLBean flannel shirts.

Great quality shirt and very soft and comfortable. Looks great when going out but soft enough that you won't want to take it off when lounging around the house.

Traditional fit is perfect--my partner is a big guy,, wears a XXL & the LLBean traditional is great. Fabric is lovely, quality is terrific. Highly recommended.

I purchased the shirt for a friend. The fit is perfect. The fabric is soft, yet substantial. The plaid is what he would have picked out. Overall, a great purchase and a very satisfied recipient.

this flannel is the best flannel i have ever owned it is so soft. i would say it is a little large but you usually want flannel to be a little big. i like to wear it unbuttoned with a t-shirt underneath. i highly recommend this product

I ordered this for my husband. The color I chose was Macbeth Old Colour which is beautiful. The colors are very muted, yet there is red/green/two different blues/yellow/white/black. There are colors to match every henley he owns. The flannel is thick and soft, washes beautifully, the size is perfect (including the length); and most importantly, he loves it. L.L. Bean flannel shirts can't be beat in quality and good-looks.
