One of the few items that is as good as it was 20 years ago. The quality of many of my favorites has clearly declined, but this shirt is rock-solid, warm, comfortable, and likely to last many, many years. Thank-you Bean for not cheapening this shirt. I strongly recommend it!

This flannel shirt is soft with room to spare.I have washed the shirt several times and shrinkage is minimal.

My late wife purchased her clothing and mine from L L Beam for the quality of them. I've continued getting most of my clothes from them for the same reason. I have shirts that are at least 30 to 40 years old that are still wearable despite a little fray on the collar and sleeve. They are easy to deal with and extremely helpful every time I call in an order.

My partner LOVES this shirt. The flannel is not paper thin, yet very soft and pliable . . . not stiff. It is also a bit longer in the back, which he likes during our cold winters.

I believe the Traditional Fit is just right. I find the cuffs of the sleeves a little large, but as far as length, it's a great fit. The shirt does not come out of my pants because it is too short, unlike other brands. The fabric doesn't seem to be as thick as some of my older tartan shirts I've bought over the years. They seem to pill easier than I seem to recall. Still, they're a good buy.

I've purchased the Blackwatch plaid shirt for my husband about five times. He wears it until it's falling apart -- and then I get another one.

Love the look, feel and fit of this shirt. One recommendation is to find the closest store near you to try sizes out. Online fit chart said i was XL-Tall standard fit and that was inaccurate. I was in fact a regular large fit.
