The cuffs and collars tend to fray. Therefore would not buy these shirts until the shirts are improved

I no longer buy Bean Flannel shirts. Reason for not Buying? After one wash the sleaves ALWAYS shrink by 2 inches. Even the extra ~1 inch they add to the TALL size's sleaves still too short after first wash and that doesn't really matter because the tall size's shirt length WAY too long unless tucked in (and nowadays most of us do not tuck in). I've tried all the appropriate sizes REG and TALL, XL, XXL.

This is a very, very light weight flannel shirt compared to the LL Bean flannel it was to replace (Item ID 277981). It's a "Be an insider" shirt, as I told the clerk when I returned it. I am disappointed that Bean no longer sells a heavy, outsider flannel shirt.

I bought this for my bf for Christmas. He was so happy - the sleeves were long enough (finally!) and it fit great. Until we washed it. We washed it on a cold delicate cycle and hung to dry and it shrank about an inch everywhere. WHAT IS THE POINT? If your material isn't pre-shrunk, then say so and size it accordingly. Such a disappointment and now we have to go through the hassle and guess work of returning/exchanging. I really wish brands would know their product and inform customers. Does anyone care anymore?

This was an expensive flannel shirt. At $79 it is well above others but purchased as it was from LLBean. And that has always meant quality. In fact i purchased two, this one and green houndstooth. Both arrived in perfect condition and were so soft, a joy to put on. We have now washed them both following wash and dry directions on the shirts. Imagine my shock when both shirts emerged anything but soft and what feels like the start of pilling. I have never experienced this with a Bean shirt. I am so disappointed.

I have tried to purchase this twice and both times it was available when ordered and both times it became unavailable subsequently. now I'm being told that the backorder won't happen until June 2026 when I need the shirt now (Jan 2026).

Nice shirt but the sleeve length is way too long. Wish they would list the length in inches.

These shirts were Christmas presents. They were marked as 2xx they are obviously mislabeled. They are huge! I can't wear them!

It never arrived! We typically love LLBean clothing however.

Shirt was way too big despite numerous other shirts from LL Bean that were the same size.

The listing shows a photo of a RED Stewart plaid shirt. The shirt is not even close to being RED. Wrong photo in the listing and misleading product name got me to buy it. Fortunately, LL Bean accepted the return without question.

I bought this shirt as a Christmas present last year. It has not been worn until recently. After a few washes, the fabric has pilled and tiny specks of lint are all over the shirt. I have purchased many flannel shirts from other brands and have never seen such poor quality.

The MacKenzie weathered colorway isn't remotely like the display. I understand that screens don't always show true color, but if you are thinking that it will be aqua with green and light blue, it won't. The plaid is all green, with red and white narrow stripes. What appears as aqua is actually just a lighter green and the whole appearance is quite drab. It looks quite bright and attractive in the photo but is absolutely not in actuality. Wish I didn't have to pay return postage.

Just awful. Paper thin. Flimsy. Terrible quality .. shrunk a full size after wash.expensive not worth the money.

I requested this to be sent by my brother as a gift, It is very large. Much bigger than other brands, I probably could have kept it to wear over a sweater to be more like a fall coat, but the sleeves are tremendously long, and that's really bothersome, unfortunately I have to return this shirt. That's too bad because the color is very nice and thr shirt is soft, Oh well. Nothing stays the same.

I bought 10 of these for family to be Christmas presents to update everyone's family color shirts. These are not what I wanted or expected. The colors are so muted compared to what we used to have. We have always bought from ll bean and to say I am disappointed is an understatement. I re checked my order and the website to see if I just needed to switch them out for a darker version but the washed version is the only thing show as available. Pictures should be updated of what the shirts look like. Because the stock photo is the same as what it was for the shirts we used to buy. Which didn't give me any pause to repurchase these as I thought to colors would be the same. Attached photo so you can see how different the color really is. Quality has pretty much gone down the tube on shirts but the price has gotten better for bean, other than that not much to relate.

Extremely poor tailoring. The shirt just ballooned out. I expect a lot better fit from LL Bean. Heck my recently purchased flannel shirt from Costco fit better.

Hmm, I reported that the sleeves were too long and I received a response that the size was normal, and that I could pay an additional ten bucks to get them shortened. You failed to mention that I received the identical shirt in a different pattern that the sleeves fit correctly and that every other medium shirt I bought from Bean also had sleeves in the correct length sleeves, along with every other medium shirt I bought anywhere. So an extra ten for stanard length sleeves, what's next, a surcharge for buttons?

Ordered medium, received medium with sleeves sized for large or extra large. Learned that Bean requires me to pay return postage. That's a total of $13.00 shipping for nothing. Bye, Bye Bean

Fabric is rough after washing once and the placket (strip the buttons are on) comes out all wrinkled. This flannel is not even close to the quality of flannel in your "wicked good" flannel shirts, which are awesome. This shirt is wicked bad and it is going in my charity pile (after wearing one time),
