Soft and wonderful but it was HUGE. Washed in hot water twice and dried on high and it's a little smaller but still big.

Flannel has gotten thinner and thinner over the years. Nice colors and fit.

I wear a large in everything I own. I ordered a large and it is way too big. Even a medium would probably be a loose fit.

The neck was too big; otherwise, it fit fine, and i love it.

Beautiful plaid but did not realize the collar was buttoned down. Too out of style so sent back.

One of my first purchases from LL Bean. The indigo tartan scotch plaid flannel is a really nice looking shirt. So well made, lightweight, and comfortable! But it started pilling, which precluded a 5* rating for me. Too bad.

The sizing is not as it has been with these shirts. They're bigger and longer than previous models of the same labeled size.

My husband loves the feel and look and it is one of many Scotch plaid shirts he owns from LL Bean. This is the first one where the side seams do not match from front to back. My husband even notices it and knows that isn't right. It makes it look like a cheap shirt and it isn't.

Scotch plaid flannel shirt changes year to year- this year the material seems softer, less stiff after washing (nice!), but traditional medium is noticeably longer in sleeve and hem length (awkward, inconsistent).

Purchased an XL Tall sized shirt. Like the flannel shirt, but sleeves and length just about fit my 6'3" husband. Bean discontinued carrying a different style flannel shirt which was a much better fit.

I have been buying your flannel shirts for years. I always buy the most expensive because they are worth it. You just take it out of the dryer and it looks like new. Not this one, it definitely will need ironed. Very disappointed.

It is too big for me. I will need a smaller size. Can I return the shirt to a local store and exchange?

Only 1 pocket and relatively thin shirt for the price.

I've always liked Bean flannel but this shirt, while nice, is NOT the heavy flannel you might expect from a Bean shirt.

We have always loved L.L.Bean. In the past the quality of the fabric and fit was exceptional. I especially appreciate being able to purchase tall sizes for my husband. HOWEVER, this shirt after only a few washings (with a new Maytag washer & dryer) looks like it is 3 years old! The fabric has pills all over the shirt! Very disappointed especially considering the price paid.

Fabric is nice and shirt is put together well, but sizing is way too big. My measurements put me right at a large according to the sizing chart, but I'm drowning in it even after a trip through the washer and dryer.

Always a winner !! These shirts are so long wearing, warm and easy to care for. My husband hates to take it off.

I've been buying flannel shirts from LL Bean for many years and have always been happy with the products. I even purchased this item about five years ago. However, this shirt has started pilling, and only after a couple of months after purchase. It looks lousy.

The shirt was soft and attractive when purchased but did not wash well. Even after ironing, it didn't look good. Disappointed with its laundered look.
