The men in your life will love this flannel shirt! I have been buying my father in law one of these shirts for the past several years for Christmas. My husband has several of them too and they both appreciate the quality, fit and style of these shirts. They are warm and comfortable and still look great wash after wash. They are well worth the price.

The guys in my house ask for these every year. The ones from last year still look like new. They are the best. Come out of the wash looking great every time. True to size.

I own just about every pattern Bean offers. Some are slightly thicker fabric than others and some even wash better than others. Still, they are all diligently stitched together from Portuguese-made ( watch the video) cotton with a collar roll that for a shirt in its category is unbeatable. They soften with age and need only to be washed in cold water and a brief thrown in the dryer. They will shrink, but minimally. The colors last and last and the patterns are classic. This is flannel for serious adults that tosses aside all the cliches associated with this quaint and cozy American style. You won't find a better shirt of this kind for this price anywhere and I am hardly the easiest person to please as my reviews will attest. Buy as many as you can. You will regret it if you don't.

My father-in-law loves the one we bought him two years ago! He starts wearing it as soon as the weather changes. He'll be getting on for Christmas agan this year, even though the last one we gave him is still in excellent condtion.

This shirt is a very soft flannel. It stayed the same after washing and drying. I recommend this shirt 100%...and the plaid is beautiful

I LOVE THIS SHIRT....... BUYING ANOTHER COLOR FOR SON FOR CHRISTMAS. SO SOFT.......FIT PERFECTLY, ALWAYS REMINDS ME OF CHRISTMAS TREES , FIREPLACES , FRESH SNOW, AND SKIING. BEST OF WINTER TIMES. I GUESS I NEED TO START BUYING THEM FOR MYSELF GOOD IDEA !

What I have to say about this product is rooted in recent real life experiences that remind me of just how many ways there are to say "fabulous!" At the height of Super Storm Sandy, without heat or electric power for almost two weeks, I relied on this Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirt, my long-sleeve Moleskin and Chamois shirts, fleece-lined jeans, flannel-lined Nor'easter Cotton Double L Chinos, Katahdin Iron Works Heavyweight Sweatshirt, Commando sweaters, and Maine Wool Guide Parka to stay warm at home and to brave the elements when travelling to work in another state. Those longtime wardrobe favorites served me very well then and I know they will in the future. I think you'll find, as I did, that you can't go wrong with this superb cotton flannel shirt. It wears well, looks great, keeps you warm, does not require a lot of maintenance, and is reasonably priced. L.L.Beanjust fabulous!

This is my third LLBean Flannel shirt. It is oh so soft and well made. A little larger than expected. Got the XL but fits big. Still its a keeper.

This is NOT your average department store flannel shirt. You know, the ones that pop up at Christmas time and go on sale for 20 bucks. This is quality that is made to last at an affordable price. It's true to size and made of a quality smooth-weave flannel. Colors are bright and plaids match nicely when shirt is buttoned up. Highly recommend this shirt.

I have two of the Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirts sitting in my closet. Every time I put one on, I know that I'm going to be warm and comfortable. This is one of those shirts that simply gets better the older it gets (I wish I could say the same!!).

I have purchased this shirt for my husband in the past and he absolutely loves it. This will be a great shirt for Christmas. It is so warm without being too heavy and keeps its shape and color through repeated washings. Will probably get a new one every fall.

I have bought other flannel shirts at LLBean which were soft but this shirt is even softer. Very nice!

I have ordered two of these shirts each year for several years and have been totally pleased. I generally keep them for six or more years before donating the older ones to Goodwill. My wife feel I should keep them longer as they are nowhere near being worn out.

Comfy, soft, and warm, this is one of those shirts that my husband will be living in for the winter. As soon as opening the package, the softness of the shirt was wonderful, the pattern and color were great, and I knew it was a keeper. Great quality! I will be ordering more.

This shirt is great. I purchased it in Royal Stewart color, and the colors are very nice, brilliant. The workmanship and materials are excellent. It is very soft, warm, quality flannel. I really like the weight, which is not thin, nor too heavy. My only nitpicks would be that it is a bit large around the waist area; more fitted would be perfect. Also, one more button down the shirt would be desirable. It is a great shirt for a fall afternoon when it's just a little cool. My wife says I look hot wearing it (this is a good thing!)

I purchased two of these shirts for winter last year and they kept me warm and were snug as a bug as well. I would highly recommend them to those who live where it gets cold during the winter.

Nice flannel shirt. Well-dyed, I think. Nice texture. I had ordered it in an XL, but I believe now I need a large, maybe a medium.

Like most people, I look for quality, and L.L. Bean is certainly a seller that provides this most important aspect in clothing. I bought two of these shirts to start with and could see this quality once I opened the package. They are so soft you could wear them to bed, and appear richly colored and very well made, so I am well satisfied with this purchase. They came quickly, too. I will be buying more items from L.L. Bean, feeling sure my satisfaction will be guaranteed, which is what they advertise. This is a company you can certainly trust.

Every year I MUST get my brother one of three shirts from LL Bean for Christmas and this is one of them; he LOVES them! Even though he lives in them they last forever and just get more comfortable. Great shirt!

The shirt wears well and washes well. It didn't shrink with cold water wash and light dryer ( short cycle). We love the great colors of the forest and navy tartan.

I have purchased many LLB flannel shirts, and this one is just as good as the "old" ones I have in my closet. Flannel is substantial thickness (unlike newer ones) and the fit (in my case a Tall) was good, with sufficient length in the sleeves (I measure a 36" sleeve). Highly recommended.

This flannel shirt is very comfortable and warm. Even thought the winter in New Jersey this year has been mild, I anticipate using this shirt for years to come.

This is now my husband's favorite flannel shirt. It has washed very well. The shirt is extra roomy in the body so that he was best fitted one size down. On-line staff were excellent at providing garment measurements so he got this best fit. Thank you!
