Portuguese flannel is the best flannel I've felt/worn. Grey Stewart is an awesome plaid design. I hope it won't be discontinued upon sell-out. It's my favorite shirt (feel and look). BTW, I'm 5' 10" with a 40 chest. I wear a medium.

I have been buying LL Bean products for a long time. If you read some of the reviews about different items, some customers note a change in quality. I think that may be true for some items. But this flannel shirt is excellent. Just like always. Sized right, nice quality material. I bought the Black Watch, and the colors are really great. Deep, dark colors, and the delineation is very sharp. It looks as good as a Pendleton wool shirt selling for three times the price. I have got to buy some of the other plaids available.

I bought this shirt for my father and he truly loves it!! Thank you Mr. Bean for a great product.

All I have to say is in the last little while, I have ordered three more of these shirtsapparently can't get enough! Beautiful tartans, luxuriously warm, well made and I have had very little shrinkage in the wash with these shirts. Just wish they would offer one in the L.L.Bean Signature tartan!

I would call this a classic winter casual shirt. Everything about it is comfortable: the pattern, style, fit, fabric. At first I thought the flannel was on the thin side but soft, and that was okay with me. Then after the first washing, the fabric seemed to bulk up and become thicker and softer still. No noticeable shrinkage in length. This is now one of my favorite winter shirts.

My dad bought this shirt for me after years of putting up with me "permanently borrowing" his LL Bean flannel, and I love having my own. I am a 5'10", size 10/12 woman, and the Medium regular fits me wonderfully (better than the women's version of this shirt, actually). The sleeves are the perfect length, and the Medium fits with just the right amount of bagginess in the chest and torso (I like wearing it over leggings or skinny jeans). The flannel is soft but thick - very warm and lays nicely without looking sloppy. Haven't washed it yet, but my dad is 6'8" and has never experienced shrinking with his versions of this shirt. (He would notice!) Very happy with the shirt, as it has sentimental value but still stands on its own in my wardrobe due to its high quality.

I purchased this flannel shirt for my husband for Xmas, he owns several of your flannel shirts & loves them. It's a tradition for him to get a new one for Xmas almost every year. These shirts are well worth the money & last for years. The only negative comment I have is this year there was an extra tag sewn into the neck of the shirt (up higher than where the normal tag is) & it was super itchy. I managed to get it off with a seam ripper but it wasn't easy. Other than that he has been very happy with the shirt.

For Christmas, I ordered an XXL /Tall for my brother (who likes his treats) and it fits him really well. It's long in the sleeves and long in the body for him - fits him great (right now - and I hope it stays that way, as I've mentioned, he does like his treats). He must love it, because every time I see him, he's wearing it. (I think he's about 275 lbs. and 6'2 - if that helps anyone reading with sizing.) The material is nice and soft. I ordered two the same time, and one is still on back order, so he'll be getting that one for his birthday in April!!...at least I know it will fit and he'll love it. : )

I purchased this in a tall for my husband for Christmas. It was thick and soft and true to size. He loved it.

I bought this for my hard working g/f She is tough on things and needs a shirt that feels good and can keep up. This does the job and looks great! You get what you pay for.

This is a great quality shirt, it feels amazing, I was hoping after reading reviews that it would fit a person of my size (6'3" 220lb) however upon trying this shirt on, it does not. I will need to get a tall version of this shirt. The comments saying this would fit a 6foot+ sized man are probably incorrect. If you are "normal" sized, buy now!

All of the flannel shirts that were ordered were received in a timely manner, fit well, are comfortable, and, obviously, of high quality!

My husband finally wore out his favourite LLBean flannel shirt (after years of hard wearing), so I ordered this one for him for Christmas in Grey Stewart. He put it on this morning and said "I need four more of these!" The fabric is a little lighter than some flannels, making it perfect for the west coast of Canada in winter. The fit is good, the quality of materials and construction is excellent, not to mention that this is one of the nicest looking plaids I've seen. We have been LLBean shoppers since our first stop at the Maine store almost thirty years ago.

The flannel shirt has a more athletic trim fit which is hard to find. I have 3 of the Shirts now and they are holding up well and shrinkage is minimal. The flannel is not too heavy so I can wear it in moderate cold and its very breathable. But layer this shirt with other gear and its very warm.

Soft and cushy, fit is true, construction is first rate, and the Stewart Plaid is beautiful. This is the first flannel purchase from LL Bean, and so don't know how long it will hold up. But if it's anything like the chamois shirts, it will be a favorite for years. The only minus is the tag sewn into the collar band, It was scratchy and had to be removed immediately.

This flannel shirt is SO nicely made-- good quality. Washes up VERY NICELY. Husband loves it --and I do also because of the wearability.

I have owned many "makes & models" of flannel shirts over the years, and by far, L. L. Bean flannels are the best! They come out of the dryer wrinkle free, sport button down collars, and feel so good on you when you wear them. Simply the best!

I bought a few of these shirts for my son. He has been very happy with the fit and comfort. When he came home for the holiday, I was impressed at how soft the fabric felt. He lives in Pittsburgh and wears them almost every day now that the winter cold has set in. Would definitely buy these again when he needs more.

I have two of these so far, and I plan to get several more! After getting my first one as a birthday gift, I couldn't bring myself to even wear any of my other flannels purchased from department stores. The fabric is very thick, soft and warm compared to others I've had, making it very comfortable. The sleeve length was just right, which is hard to find for me since I'm 6'4"; didn't even need to get the tall version, just the L Regular. If you're looking for the best quality flannel on the market with a timeless look, then this product is for you!

This is a high quality flannel, thicker than most yet resistant to wrinkles if removed from the dryer right away. I bought the black watch to replace a woolen shirt of my husband's that I shrunk and so far it has been wonderful.

Even though I am a lady I purchased the shirt in a mans small. It fits great - long and has longer sleeves for my long arms. Feels great and looks the same after I have laundered it.

This shirt is the real old fashioned item. Great quality fit and construction. I love the tartan fabric. It's a hit.

I like LLBean flannel shirts because I can get them in Medium Tall, unlike most places. I also get my initials monogramed on the cuffs for free because of my LLBean Visa - always a conversation starter which I hope leads to a sale for LLBean. This shirt is sublime - soft, well-fitting, and the Gray Stewart is a striking color.
