All the tartan plaid shirts are wonderful - both for their fit, comfort, softness of the flannel. But being a "Lindsey" (8 generations back!) I cheer whenever the Lindsey plaid is in the line up. Its red and green plaid also makes a wonderful Christmas holiday shirt.

I have bought shirts from LL Bean before - but this one required a 'review'. It started with buying it - as the customer service representative went above and beyond in insuring a prompt and accurate delivery. The fit was perfect and the colors were bright and cheery. But the best part of the item is the feel of the item. It is so comfortable to wear. Will be buying another one soon. pntgpmery

The shirt was perfect.The material was not to heavy or to light. It was just right for me.Also I did not like some comments iv seen people make about this great company so my wife and i decided to purchase a few items. Great warranty

I got the shirt in the slightly fitted size and it fits perfectly. Not only does this shirt look great, it is very comfortable. A winner!!!

This shirt is made of quality material, the cut is comfy, and wearing this is a snuggy thing!

No shrinkage when washed "cool" water, not as large as Chamois Shirt purchased at the same time, but fit was still good.

Simply put these flannel shirts are the Superbowl Champions of Shirts. Over the years I've owned several flannels but these, dollar for dollar are the best ever & that you can take to the bank. If you are owners of flannel then you know what I'm talking about, it's $$$ well spent

This is a great flannel shirt, one of my favorites. The flannel is a soft yarn-dyed plaid with vibrant colors. The sleeves are long enough for my monkey arms and didn't shrink after being washed and dried in an electric dryer. The tails are also long enough to stay tucked in and the traditional relaxed fit is just what the doctor ordered. And unlike some other L.L. Bean shirts, it has a usable man-sized pocket. I only wish they had it in an open collar version like they did back in the day.

Very handsome shirt. Cotton flannel is soft and warm but not too heavy for year round use. Sizing is a bit large so factor that in.

I recently got one of these as a Christmas gift and absolutely loved it. Very soft and comfortable..great for weekend wearing. Liked it so much I ordered additional ones right away. Looks good, heavy material but very very soft...very comfortable

My husband wore this shirt for the first time last night, and got several compliments on how well it looked on him. He also found it comfortable, so we're happy with it.

My husband loves this new flannel shirt. Not only does it look good on him, but it also fits him well. The colors are striking, the flannel is soft, and it holds its shape without looking tired and wrinkled. It was a good purchase all the way around.

I love these shirts. Wear them all the time they are warm and comfortable. In fact, just noticed, I have one on right now. Only one problem-----You have to have a least two so you have a spare when the other one is being washed.

My husband likes Bean's flannel shirts so much he tends to wear them until they have holes in the elbows. I buy him new ones and try to slip the old ones in the garbage. The more worn they get, the softer they get. Colors are pretty and a worn out shirt is a sign that he really likes it. look nice too.

My husband loves this shirt. It is cozy, but not heavy, has a nice deep chest pocket. We bought the gray and black "stewart" (I think), and it looks great. Washed up very well.

I purchased this shirt for my husband as a Christmas gift. He absolutely loves it! The fabric is soft and warm, the fit is perfect, and he says it is the most comfortable flannel shirt he has ever worn! I will definitely buy his flannel shirts from LL Bean from now on.

As always, soft, warm flannel and a beautiful plaid. My husband now has four of these shirts and they have never disappointed.

Your Scotch flannel shirts fit me better than any others I have ever bought.

I ordered this flannel shirt because it came in tall sizes, which are difficult to find in stores. The colors are nice and the fabric is fairly heavy and has kept me warm. The fit is as expected for a tall size shirt. So far no pills on the flannel, no shrinkage and the interfacings on the placket and cuffs seem to be holding up well after about five washes. The shirt did produce a lot of fuzz in the first drying cycle, so make sure you check your lint trap.
