I ordered the Scotch Plaid Finish Shirt, Black Watch and would like to say if purchasing for young men who are lean, purchase the slightly fitted version of this shirt. We ended up with these in Black Watch in a 'regular' large and were gifted a slightly fitted large for our young fellows and fitted is the way to go.

Love these LLBean flannel shirts. Nice fit, soft fabric, always look good. Have bought several of these in different plaids for Christmas gifts.

These shirts are true to size, and because the quality of the flannel is high, remain true to size after washing. This portuguese flannel makes for a lasting product that will be with you for years. I know, mine are. The assortment of plaids is imaginative and attractive.

It's been a while since I had a flannel shirt, but I love the feel so I ordered this one. It feels great! It is mid-weight, definitely not a thin flannel and fits as described. I am 5'10'' and 168 and frequently order LG because I don't like tight fitting shirts, but I read the reviews and ordered a Medium. After a wash and run through the dryer, it is perfect, even with a T-shirt underneath. It has the appearance of a quality shirt ....very happy with the shirt.

Nice color. This flannel always looks nice; washes well and is so soft. Bought 1 for my husband and another for my son. They love them!

Over the years, I have had a number of flannel shirts, but the ones I like the best are from LLBean. Nice colors and very warm. They feel great from day one.

I have 5 of these shirts that I wear in the winter on a regular basis. These shirts are super soft and hold their size and color even after repeated washings. These are the only flannel shirts that I will ever buy again.

Beans flannels are the best - fit great, wash well. If the weather is bad enough to wear flannel, this is the one. I get one for my husband every Christmas.

The title says it all. I have several LL Bean flannel shirts and haven't worn any out. They are made with a heavier flannel than ones you can buy in the big box stores. The elbows wear out on the thin ones but not flannel shirts from LL Bean

This is my sixth or seventh flannel from LLBean. These, along with my lambswool v-neck sweater, are what I wear every day during the cool winters of coastal northern California. They are super comfortable and get more so with age. The colors stay true for years and the plaids are very good looking. If you're looking for a long wearing, great looking, comfortable shirt this is the one you want!

Bought 2 plaid flannel shirts for our 21 year old son and he loves them! He's about 6'4" and weighs about 200 lbs. so the sizing can be a little tricky at times but the large is a PERFECT fit...cut isn't too full and the sleeves ARE long enough. The flannel is perfect for our southern winters and he says they are very comfortable. Haven't laundered one yet but based on prior experience I don't expect any issues. Great quality as always from LL Bean!

I buy one or two of these shirts for my husband every Christmas. The shirt runs somewhat big because the traditional medium fits him well, and in most other shirts he prefers large which are a little roomy on him. The shirts hold up very well after many wearings and washings. Thanks LLBean for a good quality shirt.

Very soft and warm fabric. Great to get a tall shirt with not only longer length but longer arms also. Perfect fit!!

I am hard to fit. LL Bean has a GREAT FIT for my needs. Quality is excellent and selection also.

Purchased for my youngest son who works in agriculture and even in winter is constantly in and out. He is very happy with this shirt. Great layering piece.

All men in our family got these 'Scotch' Flannel Plaids this year and ALL of them were happily wearing their new cozy shirts as the sun went down. They were thrilled at the softness, warmth and great sizing for each of them! My very tall and larger men remarked how pleasantly surprised they each were about the cut of the traditional fit and the great extra length. They fit them so well!! Our family of 7 men opened their 'Scotch' Flannel Plaids and by evening's chill ALL of them excitedly donned their new cozy shirts!! They were thrilled at the softness, warmth and great sizing for each of them! Stylish yet traditional tartans and colors - they are gorgeous! I like roomy shirts and this is one. Don't care for button down collars, but this shirt works buttoned down or not. Don't like pocket flaps, and this doesn't have them. The flannel is a tight weave. I bought this shirt last year and wore it a lot. This year I got a different color. Great for cold days & nights.
