Bought this for my husband. It is much nicer than most flannel shirts today. I bought the black watch plaid which he can dress up or down.

Looks and fits great

I actually got 2 of these plaid shirts, and they seem to be highly satisfactory. I generally keep the indoors temperature around 65 F, and wearing this shirt I am comfortable. After a few days wearing, I washed them together with a pair of white cotton painters jeans. These last showed no color bleeding, so it appears these shirts are totally color fast. The only place where there is room for improvement is that pockets on both sides would be a plus.

My husband has tried many different kinds of flannel shirts, and so far this is his favorite. It's not too bulky, but it's plenty warm. He also likes the available colors. We ordered three to start with, and have ordered three more which will be delivered soon. (Also, for any men who are tall, be sure to order the shirt in Tall).

I bought this shirt for my husband. He really likes the color. It fits him well and he has no complaints. His only wish is that it was not all cotton.

Have yet to launder,so I cannot comment on durability. Color vibrant very attractive. Perfect fit but my arms are long for my height. Generally in a generic sizing the sleve length is too short. This fit perfectly in sleve length and comfortably throughout. Like it so much I may purchase another

Husband always loves LL Bean flannel shirts. Soft, comfy, fits nicely. I like them because they wash up nicely and don't need ironing.

I got the M-tall and it fit beautifully as have several others I have purchased in years past. Comfortable nice feel, and it looks good to boot.

Would repeat ordering similar items without expecting any less satisfaction.

i don't find much i like at llbean anymore. oh, but these flannel shirts are what first inspired my passion for the place and until and unless they change the quality of the fabric i will continue to buy them for my brother i have several in the womens cut . we are only limited in how many we own because every year they have the same patterns over and over. the same scottish, not scotch, tartans. i like the tartans, very much. but there are many. also, i would own more if they did not every season, run out of plus sizes. so. yes, this a fabulous shirt. he loves them. llbean customer service is outstanding. however , overall the quality of their items is on a downward slide, and i find many of their items, just unattractive, especially in regard to color, so. i am less enthused than i used to be about llbean clothing but this shirt keeps me coming back. oh. and the oxford cloth and the linen shirts. not much else.

The shirt fits well and is warm. The only thing I would change is the fit of the cuffs. Outer button makes the sleeves too big around and the inner button makes the cuff a little too tight. I like the green plaid coler of the shirt.

Expensive but worth it. Also bought one for my fathers birthday.

Purchased in the Lindsay plaid. Great colors, excellent fit. Previous reviews helped make the decision about sizing. Washed well on gentle & a low dry. Really comfortable!

I love these shirts. I've either bought, or been given a new one each Christmas for the past 8 years as new tartans have become available. I now have enough to wear a different one to work (in a wood working shop) each day, plus a spare. I prefer the slightly muted colors, and the tougher fabric of these compared to the slightly "off", garishly bright cheaper ones I used to get at department stores. These look nice enough straight from the dryer, but if I need them to look sharp and crisp to go to Sunday meeting, or out to dinner, they respond well to a steam iron and look nice under my tweed coat, not necktie nice, but nice enough to be respectable. The oldest one is just as nice as the newest one. My only complaint is that I almost wish they were not quite so soft. Sawdust tends to stick to the soft flannel. But a quick application of the foxtail bench brush cleans them up effectively if necessary. My oldest ones are size XL and still fit fine, although my kid tends to "borrow" them. Lately I've been buying the 2XLs because I do a lot of bending, twisting, carrying, and lifting overhead and like the freedom of movement, especially around my food storage pod.

I started buying these shirts when I was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska back in the 1980s and they're still my favorite. They're warm, comfortable, fit well, and last forever. I'd probably still be wearing the same shirts I bought back in the day, but I've gained a bit of weight since leaving the military...

The Scotch plaid flannel shirt is my favorite shirt for fall and winter! I love the fabric, the color and the fit.

This is my 6th flannel purchase. Love the weight, button down collar and great quality. Will purchase more when new colors become available.

I purchased this shirt for my husband, who has long arms and wanted a flannel shirt that wouldn't shrink up when washed. Well, this shirt does shrink, but it is cut plenty generous so that it fits very well after it is washed, even multiple times. It also stays very soft and warm. After buying the first one he was so pleased that I purchased three more. He likes the various plaids and wears them nearly every day. Would definitely recommend.

True fit...main factor in this review is that this is an incredibly soft and warm shirt...as with Bean products the catalog can never fully describe how wickedly soft and warm a product is...

These shirts are as advertised. Soft fabric, comfortable fit and they keep you warm. I like them a lot.
