This shirt is very warm and cozy and a joy to wear. I have washed it once and it came out of the dryer just like new. No shrinkage or pilling. My only suggestion would be to choose buttons and buttonholes which are slightly larger. As a senior I am finding it more difficult now to get the small buttons into their buttonholes. Other than that the shirt is perfect and just what I always except from LL Bean.

Purchased this as a gift for my 21 yo son. I wasn't used to buying a "medium" for him, but the LL Bean size guidelines were very helpful. The print (Black Watch) is beautiful, and the material is sturdy but VERY soft. He really likes it. Unlike some other on-line competitors, LL Bean quality is assured as is ease of returns if needed. That makes gift-giving very easy even if you do it solely on-line.

I have other flannels from LL Bean that are extra large, and these are a bit big for me. So, I ordered the XL Tall, and it is a perfect fit. I also love the Bean Hunting colors of this particular shirt. The feel of the flannel, like every other LL Bean shirt I have is wonderful. This product is a great value for the price. If you like flannel, this is the one for you.

Comfortable & Warm; Good Fit; Looks good

It was a Christmas gift for my husband and he keeps on saying how good and soft it fits. I'm buying him another.

My husband, who is 6 ft., 5 1/2 inches tall loves this shirt. I ordered it in a "tall" size and it fits him great. He loves the "Blue Watch" plaid and the flannel material keeps him warm here in the house, without having to wear a sweater, too. The sleeves were long enough, also, which always seems to be a problem when he buys other shirts from other stores.

My husband wears out his flannel shifts every year. He always requests LLBean replacements as they are so soft. Hope there are more plaids next year because we have 1 of each in the present collection!

I have purchased a few of these over several years ago. Great shirt. 1 wash required for a little shrinkage to fit properly, for me.

This flannel shirt simply "fit" all expectations I had. It fits without binding, is soft to touch, warmer than regular cotton version. Colors and plaid style are well done. Looks great tucked in or used unbuttoned with a tee shirt underneath. I normally wear a tee shirt around the house and this adds just enough warmth and comfort during colder days. I do like to have them laundered and ironed to keep them looking neat.

I bought 2 of these shirts for my husband and father-in-law. They both commented on the softness and comfort of the fabric.

I am a slender 6' tall gentleman. I ordered Large Tall originally. Ended up sending them back quickly as I found out they're cut quite generously. As I told the customer service agent, "I felt like I was wearing a tent". She laughed and said that they are cut generously because many individual will wear a sweatshirt underneath. I've ordered 5 LL Bean flannel shirts over the past 12-18 months. I enjoy wearing all of them. Comfortable, warm (especially on cold NE WI winter days) and fit true to size (especially sleeve length) AND look great. Thank you LL Bean!

My sons love their LL Bean flannels. The tall size makes them the perfect length to wear untucked. And the fabric is excellent quality.

THE FLANNEL MATERIAL IS THICKER THAN ANY OTHER I'VE EVER WORN & EXTREMELY WARM. PLAID PATTERNS ARE ALSO VERY NICE & EASY TO MATCH WITH MY CORDUROY PANTS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This flannel is the most comfortable shirt that I have ever worn. Feels like butter. Feels great in the high mountain weather.

Whenever this shirt is worn I hear how much he loves the shirt. It looks very nice, is comfortable under a sweater and he is especially loving it's warmth and softness.

I ordered two shirts for my husband in extra large size but returned them right after xmas for the large size. Have not received those yet. Hope you still have the same shirts in the large size.

Bought this for my husband since I have a few of the women's flannel and love them. He was very happy and stated it was really soft and comfortable. Bought this in XL Tall and it is slightly longer than expected but still within reason.

I purchased this flannel shirt based on other LL Bean reviews and from other purchases I have made for myself. Quality has usually been something to always rely on and this shirt did not disappoint. We have washed it several times and it has retained its color, fit and shape. He would like to select other patterns of this style which I am hoping to get for him soon.

Purchased this flannel as a Xmas gift for my daughters boyfriend. She said he loves it and the quality behind the LL Bean name and Wears it all the time. Looks nice in pictures.

Got this shirt as a present from wife's grandmother and couldnt ask for a better shirt to stay warm and look better at work.
