I bought this shirt for my dad. The shirt's blurb said "The softest long-lasting flannel" and it's been made the same way for over 80 years. He has had a problem with good work shirts shrinking after he washes them. I thought this would be a good try for no-shrinkage. It is a very handsome, durable shirt and he mentioned its softness, that's how soft it is. Plus it's nice and warm! I think it will wear well and keep for a few years. Am quite pleased!

This is the second shirt I have purchased. The first one was in the local store in Colorado. My husband loved it so much that I went online and ordered another one for his birthday. It holds up beautifully as I have washed it several times since my husband practically lives in it.

We all know that the sizing and quality of garments (mostly from China) have been awry for too long. Not with these flannel shirts. They never vary and hold up for years. I wear them in and out of the house, in cool weather, instead of a sweater.

I have bought several of these shirts for my husband over time and they hold up beautifully. My husband loves them. And the patterns and colors are great.

Excellent as usual, but large size ran somewhat smaller than three other LLBean size large flannel shirts from another series that I have.

LL Bean flannels are fabulous! warm, soft, and they wash really well. I take them out of the dryer when they are slightly damp and there is no shrinkage. Highly recommend.

Post winter/Early Spring this shirt is warm without being too warm.

Love the softness, love the color, love to rely on LLBean. Couldn't be happier.

Absolutely great flannel shirt - just ordered a second. Nice fit, soft flannel, not too thin or heavy. Highly recommend.

Bought for my husband - he looks great in it.

Purchased this shirt as a birthday gift for hubs. He is an XL-T, a common size, but they never fit him just right. Especially the sleeves and body length. My nephew and I had been discussing some fabulous, heavy L.L. Bean flannel sheets, which I had sent to him and his bride. He said, "Why not look for a flannel shirt for Carl on LL Bean?" So, I happily shopped and -- Lo! And behold! -- there were the most beautiful flannel shirts I'd seen in ages. All a-flutter, I finally decided on this lovely shirt. When it arrived, he tried it on immediately. It fit him perfectly, including length of sleeves and length of body of shirt! I washed it on delicate, warm water, used a tad of fabric softener and voila! All soft and fluffy and warm and new! He wears it with everything! Blue jeans, black jeans, gold jeans, etc. Finally, a flannel shirt that fits! As for wear, we live in NE Florida, so it does get "cold" more often now. Don't be laughing, all you Northern Tier folks! I know he will get many years of pleasure wearing this divine shirt! YAY for properly fitting TALL SHIRTS!

Fits excellently, very soft, very well made, comfortable, sleeve length correct, warm but breathable. Quality is typical LLBean, always last longer than others and retains fit and color after many washings. Definitely worth the money! Would recommend to my friends.

Ordered this for my husband. He is very pleased with shirt and I expect I will order more.

Fits well. Comfortable. Warm enough for winter days by itself or as a base with appropriate layers. Nice looking. Well worth the price.

Loved the Lindsay, Black Watch and Black Stewart so much I bought all three. Very soft and colors are extremely sharp. Wash gently and hang to dry. Can you please bring back the Royal Stewart and offer a Rob Roy option as well?

I love this shirt. It fits just right and is soft and the new plaid is as shown in the ad, very attractive.

I own a couple of others in this series. Will be acquiring one more. Betcha can't tell what I think of these shirts. I prefer the button down collar. Super soft and easy to care for. A must have in all men's closets.

Beautiful plaid, soft flannel, fits perfectly. A wonderful shirt in every way.

Unfortunately, either the buyers have chosen not to renew the product, the wholesalers selling or the manufacturers have quit manufacturing these shirt. Supplies are dwindling and there is no indication that more are on the way. But I guess that is the way of things. I would buy more, if I could. I have 4 of the old tartans.

Comfortable, soft

My husband has already worn out one of these shirts, from years of wear to work construction in. I also believe that three out of four of the members of my family have this shirt!

A blessing that it is not cheaply cut-very comfortable fit-well made-excellent button-down collar-only drawback is just s single breast pocket-why not one on each side?
