I have always loved LL Bean flannel shirts. I received this Dress Gordon as a gift, because I am a big fan of the movie, Christmas Vacation, And this is the shirt worn by the Clark Griswold character played by Chevy Chase. The rich thick softness of the shirt is the flannel I've come to expect from LL Bean. I will wear this shirt often, especially when, annually, I watch my favorite movie, Christmas Vacation.

My new LL Bean flannel shirt is delightful. Very appealing colors in a traditional plaid pattern. Soft warm cotton, extremely comfortable. A great fit at Medium. I usually wear large and initially ordered this shirt in Large, but it was too big for me. It came with a return label and LL Bean handled the exchange flawlessly, paying both for the return shipping of the Large, and the cost of sending me the Medium. Bravo, LL Bean!

I gave this gift to my son in law for Christmas and he wore it and wore it and wore it - almost every day. So for Easter, I got another one for him and he wears it and wears it and wears it. That tells you how he likes it. He works from home. But his wife tells me that he has it on all the time. Must be very comfortable.

This shirt was just what I was looking for - a heavier flannel to use as a jacket. I have to buy in the mens section to get a shirt that is long enough because the women's plus+tall stop in too-small sizes. It doesn't fit my hips but I hardly ever button so that's fine by me. I do wish there had been more patterns to choose from, but I'm glad I found the right thickness of material at least.

Ordered large first but returned for a medium. Fabric is soft and rich looking. Fit is just right, and can wear with a t-shirt under it. Colors as expected.

I love these shirts. I have 5 of them and I would not buy any others. Comfortable, easy to wash/dry and wear.

My beloved spouse grew tired of wrestling with my grunge daughter and me for his extra large black watch flannel shirt. So I purchased two more and now we each have one. They are our favorite item to wear around the house, walking the dogs, with leggings, jeans, a scarf, whatever you like. Just right fabric thickness and richly saturated color.

I had bought two of these shirts a month ago. I liked them so much, I went back and bought two more colors. They fit well, come out of the dryer ready to wear.

This is a perfect mid-weight flannel for layering. The fabric is much softer than I expected. The build quality is impressive; the plaid pattern matches at the pocket and across the button front - none of the "plaid gone bad" that I've seen on some other brands. The cut is generous, and the shirt hasn't shrunk excessively. After washing and drying it twice, the shirt has plenty of room in the body and the sleeves are just the right length - neither riding up my forearms nor hanging past my wrists.

I bought one of these a year or two ago and I decided that another was a great idea. They are warm and comfortable and they wear well. I probably should have bought a large, but that's ok. I like these! If they come up with some other tartans I will probably acquire more.

I've had this exact shirt for 20 years, but the original is beyond threadbare. The new one is exactly what I wanted. Awesome.

I buy these shirts for my husband every year for Christmas, he lives in them, and loves when he gets a new plaid. Keep up the good work!

I have found that flannel shirts can differ dramatically in quality but finally found a great shirt in this buy. It is warm, soft and doesn't "pill" after wearing or washing. The fit is exactly as expected. Having now found the right one, I plan to buy several more. Definitely recommend this to others.

Did a great job of keeping me warm this winter. Big plus is that it's my family's tartan.

I have purchased four flannel shirts here and there are no disappointments. I'm tall with a bit of a geezer belly and these shirts (xxl) are perfect for me. I would consider them slightly oversized if you are really skinny. I wear one these around the house almost every day. Super soft and comfy with added warmth during brisk weather. Two thumbs up and five stars from me.

The LL Bean flannel shirt is the best deal there is for high quality flannel shirts.

This is the warmest and most comfortable flannel shirt that I have ever owned. It fits well and I enjoy the feel. I plan to purchase a few others with different colors.

Once I got it the shirt is true to fit. I have bought from other retailers and the shirt could not be buttoned at the sleeves due to not being long enough. Shipping was an issue but LL Bean sent out another shirt not using the post office and it arrived in 3 days, the first shirt was tied up in the usps for 30 days.

I purchased this shirt for my husband, and I'm very glad I did. It is a high-quality flannel, the workmanship is very good, and the plaid is lovely. Now, if I can only get him to throw out some of his very old shirts.
