My husband and I have been buying from LL Bean for 45 years. We were particularly fond of their flannel shirts and robes. Unfortunately, our latest purchases of flannels have been sorely disappointing and are not the flannel quality that we had depended on in the past. We could tell it wasn't the same flannel by just looking and feeling the shirt. It feels like a polyester fabric. The fabric is poorly woven and overly brushed so it pills after washing. After the first wash, my dryer screen was covered in over an inch of lint! I paid a premium price expecting the LL Bean quality. These are unfortunately a great disappointment.

These are my favorite flannel shirts. Good weight, warm and made well.

Very soft and comfortable shirt. Colors work well with browns and blues and other earthtones.

I bought this because the Buchanan tartan is my favorite my family's tartan. The last two purchases were the Buchanan ancient and Buchanan modern. Quality on those like this currant shirt is exceptional and they lasted over ten years of heavy use.

Great version of Bean's classic flannel shirt. True to size except the sleeves, which are slightly too long. Better than too short, I guess.

Great material and great fit. I would buy again in different colors.

I recently purchased two Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirts, they are amazing. They are a bit heavier than I usually get and I wear a 2x, I am down from a 5x and some of the 2x shirts are more like 1.5x, you know where you get that stretched opening by the belly, anyway, these are not like that, these are a 2x maybe a 2.25. They look great and feel fantastic. I like to keep a heavier shirt in my truck just for backup. Well made

Nice shirt. Can be worn casually in spring, fall and winter. Goes well with the Bean sweater vest!

Love this flannel shirt! The flannel is incredibly soft and very warm. Loved it so much, I bought one for my wife and she loves it too!

Everything you can name is good about this shirt. I am 6 ' 150 lbs. , long arms. Medium regular fits perfectly.

The flannels I get from LL Bean are the best. The material is soft and cozy and they hold up well after washing for many years. I have flannel shirts from a few other places and they are not as good. I always order Regular Fit/Large, but I've noticed shirts from the last few years are noticeably larger than in the past. Not sure what has changed. I'm good with the larger fit though.

My husband was thrilled with his new flannel shirts that are comfortable, well fitting, & colors very flattering. Will definitely purchase again in the future.

The colors in this plaid are a welcome change from my other tartens. The blues and greens with a touch of yellow and white are perfect! Thankyou

I had other L.L.Bean flannel shirts that are size Large and fit very well. So I initially ordered this shirt in a Large. However, when I tried it on it was much too big. So, I returned it for a medium which fits perfectly. I do wish that I could order sleeve length. I need the sleeves 2" shorter. So, I just fold the cuffs back and that fits well. I really like the colors on this shirt and it is very comfortable.

Another great Bean Flannel in my collection! I have tried lower-priced flannels but come back to Bean's because of the quality and the fact that I can pull it out of the dryer, put it on a hanger and it's good to go. Lower priced flannels (and some Higher Priced Shirts) need ironing. The only reason I don't buy more Bean Flannels is that I have every color/pattern I want (with a few duplicates too.)
