I had to return the shoes since one shoe felt very loose compared to the other despite being the correct size. Must have been a manufacturing defect.

Bought these because of the great reviews about comfort, but was disappointed. The sole and ventilation are nice, but the laces are too short and make it tight around the top of your foot. I tested them out around my house and after just 5-10 minutes of wearing them the tops of my feet were red. I wouldn't consider the arch of my foot to be beyond average height. I'll be returning these to pick out something different.

Loved these shoes, not sure if I got a dud but I've probably worn them a total of 10 times over 1.5 years and the gray is peeling off, and the metal around the top lace got bent from tightening the shoe. I don't like to hear them anymore because they look so worn when only used a handful of times. My 3 other pairs of JMs have a lot better quality

Really like the look of this shoe! However, I ordered for my husband because we thought, based on the photo, that it was a slip-on shoe. However, it is not - it ties. He will most likely want to return.

Very comfortable and they breathe like no other shoe I've ever worn. One complaint, the stripe on the upper part of the sole is painted and scuffs off very easily, making a really sharp pair of shoes look ragged. Also, there are holes in the bottom of the sole to allow air to flow. It's fantastic for keeping your feet cool, but be careful of puddles when wearing them. Water will make the upper part of the white pair look stained until they dry.

Looks good, the fit is good, the only problem is when flexed as I walk, the crease over the toes is quite pronounced. I will keep them, but I need to wear a heavy sock to make them comfortable. Correct this issue and the shoe would get five stars

Loved the shoes but the size was way off. I have several JM shoes and I'm a 9.5 in all of them so i ordered a 9.5 in this shoe and it's like 2 sizes too big, very strange.

Nice looking shoes. However, the mesh fabric formed a hard crease on the upper foot where the toes meet the arch. This caused considerable discomfort when walking. Had to return them.

the top of shoe is flimsy. As I am walking the creases hits my food and irritates the top of my feet on my toe area.

Sharp looking shoe. Would have loved them for my husband but unfortunately they run narrow and there's not a wide option. Maybe in the future JM will offer more sizes.

This shoe is too light-weight which made it uncomfortable to wear when I tried them on and wore them for a few minutes in the house on carpet and hardwoods floors. I have returned them. Please know that J&M is and has always been my favorite shoe company and will seek you out on my next shoe purchase.

Had to return them. Like the look of the shoes but the elastic piece over the instep makes this shoe very hard to get on. I wear a 10 D wide shoe. I could not get my foot in the shoe. Please eliminate this piece and make the shoe more like a lace up shoe.
