Best comfort show hes ever worn

Good shoe, very light, but....the inset could offer a bit more support. If you substitue the insert with one that offers some insole support then this is an amazing light comfortable shoe, with super smooth style, for the ladieeeeeeees.....

Fantastic shoes - super comfy, great looking (lots of compliments), and versatile. Fit is true and the stretchy laces make them a slip-on that is tight enough for (sub)urban wear.

Back heel is firm, hard on us older guys. Overall a good look and light, cushion, breathable feel.

These are very comfortable, look good and are easy to take on and off.

The shoe is light and comfortable. The only issue was a small piece of leather was missing from one shoe however not enough to return just hope the spot does not grow larger. The shoe runs about 1/2 size larger than my sneaker size which is 11 so I ordered a 10.5 and they fit perfectly.

Caused a bit of rubbing that my old pair dod not so. The gray pair was better.

My husband has a difficult foot to size up properly in an athletic shoe. Of course he swears by Johnston &Murphy for all of his dress shoes so he expected the same in the tennis shoe he ordered and was pleased that it was what he wished for in the fashion and fit! Thanks

Very lightweight and comfortable. I would say the size is 1/2 off. I wear an eleven Nike and the 10.5 fits perfect. Could have a bit more cushion for the inserts. The Look is very nice 1 step up from a tennis shoe/sneaker. Would recommend.

Very comfortable and stylish right out of the box. Would like a litt more cushion in the sole but is still very comfortable

These may be one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes Ive purchased from J&M, and I own several. The perforated leather really is temperature regulating and my feet feel as fresh wearing these as a pair of Nike flex or other ultra lite running shoe.

Stabilizes well rearfoot to mid-foot. Light and comfortable Style is professional

Great shoe Runs a bit larger

Great look and very comfortable but I am not sure about ventilation, I walked during light rain and I felt almost wet on the bottom

Nice, but runs narrow

I bought a pair of Activate U-Throats in blue and liked them so much I bought another pair in grey. They fit true to size but are just a bit wider than some other J&M shoes I own which contributes to their comfort. Interesting tidbit; what you can't see from the pictures is that in addition to the perforated uppers, there are vents in the soles of these shoes towards the heel that extend in to the insole. In other words, if you hold these shoes up to the light and look in to them from where you put your foot in, you can see light. That in addition to the perforated uppers make these a very cool shoe. Great for warmer weather.

Great show for comfort & style

Shoes are very light. Comfort is good. Maybe slightly snug across the middle of my foot. Laces are a little on the short side. They look absolutely great for a casual shoe.
