I've been purchasing from Johnston Murphy for quite a while, and always a nice assortment of their items. Shoes, Chinos, Belts etc. I've always been a loyal client. My latest purchase was a pair of Active U-Throat Shoes that appeared to be shipping within a few days and with acquisition in a week. BUT a week into the order I receive an update that now estimates mid-October to receive these shoes. It's UNACCEPTABLE to appear that something is in stock and ready to ship, then be told it's months away. I wanted these for a vacation...and If I knew of the delay from the JM Website, I would have chosen something else. This practice sadly makes me have to re-think future purchasing...and maybe try other brands.

I was looking for a comfortable casual dress shoe and I found it! Very happy with this shoe!

I live in Scottsdale AZ and these shoes help me handle the 110+ degree heat. Not only do they vent extremely well, but they are very comfortable and look sharp too!

These are really nice looking and comfortable when new. They stay comfortable but the spongy rubber bottom is painted blue half way down and it just rubs right off. I can't believe a company of this caliber released a shoe of this quality to their customers. I may never buy another J&M shoe again

I liked a shoes that is comfortable to wear and stylish. This shoe is a great balance of both. I like that I can slip it on easily with the elastic shoe ties. As a teacher I am on my feet a lot and this shoe feels the best as comparable to sneakers that are less casual.

This is my second pair of J&Ms and I've only had them a week, but I really like them so far. I wanted something that wouldn't be too hot in the summer and would be comfortable all day. So far, these fit the bill. I like the looks and they have a slipper-like feel to them. I was pleasantly surprised that these have a pretty wide toe box. I think these area shoe that I could easily wear with Khakis/slacks or jeans. If I have any complaint about them, it's that I don't love the seam on the outsole in the front and back. I understand it's an artifact of the molding process, but it would be better if they could've reduced or removed it.

Shoes are worth every penny. Comfortable, stylish, perfect to wear with a nice pair of jeans.

I havent put this shoe through any rigorous wear and tear. They have been worn 3 times and the gray coloring or paint on the white mid sole is starting to chip/peel off. I have worn them to a meeting and 2 times around the office. I expected more for a shoe at this price range.

Please, bring back the spandex laces. I loved having no tie laces. Also, I hope you bring back the black color with no color white bottom.

I like everything about these shoes. They are light, flexible, and supportive.I have one suggestion. The heel curves out instead of back. Feels a little odd at first.

Hate that the white ones are sold out. Will they restock?

Never before I had to "break them " First time I wore these ,ended up with blisters.

Super comfy and looks great. I can go from business casual straight to drinks after work.
