Excellent shoe and get compliments all the time on them. Have two pair, blue and beige. Comfortable with or without socks.

Real lightweight and comfortable. Size like you would a running shoe, not a dress shoe.

I bought these for a friend who is particular about shoes and he loves them - I may buy him another pair for the winter.

Stepping

So it's 50%. Bought 2 pair. One pair is amazing and super comfortable, the second pair had to be returned due to a defect in the leather piece sewn in the back of the heel which rubbed a blister with its rough edge. Probably just a defect in workmanship on that shoe since the other pair is very comfortable. I didn't want to replace it because I didn't want to chance the defective sewn in piece again. Ran big 1/2 size.

I've been wearing these shoes for about four months. I ordered size 8 because that's the smallest available size J&M offers; I normally wear 7 to 7.5. Out of the box the shoes look really nice--just as nice as they're portrayed on the website. They're amazingly light and very comfortable. My first impression was that the shoes seemed to be of superior quality. Having now worn them regularly for four months I can affirm the truth of that statement. If J&M offered a size smaller than 8, I wouldn't hesitate to order another pair. Bottom line: these are good quality shoes that are quite comfortable and look very nice.

The shoe is very comfortable and lightweight. I use an orthotic and it provides me support i need for my arch no matter what the shoe - the Amherst was very "receptive" to the orthotic
