Style and fit is perfect for a casual look

I have a wide foot so it's not uncommon for me to have a long break in period. But these shoes were comfortable the moment I put them on.

Attractive and comfortable summer shoes. I don't like U-Throat shoes soI'm happy J&M made a shoe like this.

For casual shoes, there are none better than the Activate. I've bought 6 pairs of Activate shoes in the last few weeks, all with different styles, of course, but the same amazing fit, comfort, style, and coolness. They are amazingly light and cooling to my feet and will go perfectly with all my casual summer attire. I've thrown out every old pair of summer shoes. Their comfort and style were not even close. I'm sold on the Activate model! Well played, Johnston & Murphy!

Was looking for something dressier than a sneaker but still casual. These fit the bill perfectly, and so comfortable. They look great with jeans.

Shoe is awesome

Looks really nice with the new soles. Add a new flare but not an ordinary tennis shoe. Makes for an updated causal look that provides a great look with any attire . Without loosing any the comfort and style. My husband is spoiled with J& M shoes no other shoes will do!!

I got this shoe for my boyfriend who is on his feet all day long. He absolutely loves them and they keep his feet dry and cool.

Light, unbelievably comfortable, and nice looking. Best shoes I've ever worn.

The fabric as it reached the toe was not very tight but I can live with it.

Like most JM items, they feel and fit great right out of the box. Would prefer a little more cushion in these but the are still very comfortable.

Very comfortable. Lightweight and breathable. Good support for being on feet type job. One complaint front of both rubbed off and are showing white within a week - see pics. Look scuffed/worn out as a result. Otherwise good. Will see how long they last. For the cost unexpected.

Love the shoes. Very comfortable. Almost the perfect fit for my feet. The only problem is the width at the bridge of the foot. Sadly I have to return them.

I received the shoe and it appears nice. I am returning for an exchange to a larger size. The shoe is very narrow.

Look nice, fit well, and are decently comfortable but not great comfort.

Very comfortable waling shoe

I like the style and comfort of the shoes. I wore it mostly as a casual attire but a couple of times I wore it in fine dining occasion. I bought these shoes for my trip in Spain. And during the 3 weeks in Spain, we did a lot of walking and didn't have any major issues at all. There were 5-7 occasions where we walked for 10-14 miles in the city. The cushy sole was very comfortable but the width was narrow. The width was the only thing that I had some discomfort with after walking for a couple of hours. I wish JM would provide options with wider width. For the 3 weeks, we have walked in rain, mist, and heat on concrete, asphalt, dirt, grass, and rocks. The only cosmetic issue was the front of the right shoe has scuffed off the gray by the middle toe. So there is a white scuff half the size of a penny that is exposed.

Satisfied for the most part. It doesn't quite have the same "quality feel" as the other Activate options. I have several leather pairs and this one for some reason doesn't quite match up. Still recommend to others as it's a really good style.

Decent light shoe. It isn't to be compared to a heavy walking shoe.

Generally up to standard. Maybe a bit more support is needed.

These shoes look great, and they are lightweight and breathable which is nice. However, they are super itchy on the inside if you are wearing them with ankle socks or thin socks. I don't like the feeling so I always have to wear thicker socks when wearing these shoes, which kinda defeats the point of them being lightweight and breathable.
