Great looking shoe. The length of this pair is a bit longer than expected so am having some heel slip but believe that will work out with wear. Highly recommend this new cognac option in the Berkley line.

I have been on a long journey searching for my loafer and, these Florsheim’s take the cake. I am very particular when it comes to the shape, color, silhouette of a shoe and…even the click when walking.
I tried a few other pairs from other brands and, they just haven’t checked every box until this pair. I love the snug fit and comfortability of daily use. The quality stands out and is 10/10!
The only thing is the color, I expected a more wine/oxford burgundy but what I received was more of a deep chocolate brown, I love it but definitely not burgundy vibes.
Overall, amazing pair of loafers and I wouldn’t be surprised if I order another pair in a different color.

I ordered an 11 1/2 EEE to replace the 12EEE that were too big (in a different style of shoe). Well, these are too small. This one is on me as I should have gone with the 12EEE.

Pretty good version of this classic style, and certainly well priced. There is one flaw, there thin band of plastic lining the interior of the opening of the shoe. Ordinarily this would be leather. If you are wearing thin socks (or no socks) this plastic strip can chafe your foot just below the ankle bone on the outside of the foot. The shoe has a rubber sole which helps in the wet.

I usually don't have any trouble with ordering 11-1/2wide shoes. The Florsheims did not have enough height in the toe - the tops of my toes were rubbed raw after trying to wear the shoes for an hour. I know the shoes are new and stiff, but my heel is very loose and feels as if it will come out of the shoe when I walk. I will have to buy those inserts that supposedly fix that problem. If it wasn't such a pain to send the shoes back, I would. Maybe the shoes were too inexpensive to be of decent quality. I'm used to the Imperial line from Florsheim which fit like a glove.

On the other hand, a full-grain, welted shoe with dainite sole can cost over four hundred bucks most places. Thank goodness for Florsheim.

I have had Florsheim shoes for some time. I like the looks of the "Bentley" model. The main problem I had with them was that I would wear-out the sole which was a soft leather. Then I discovered the "Bentley Flex" model with a synthetic sole. I will probably wear these forever. I have a high instep and a wide foot, so this model of Penny Loafer fits great.
