despite the comfort of these shoes, I cannot recommend them. My husband wore them for 3 days and they are cracked and no longer usable. We expect work shoes to get us through one season of outdoor chores, especially from a company like Muck that presents that farming and outdoor use are the intended purpose for their shoes. These disappointed us completely. They are comfy and light, but won’t give you more use than a walking shoe.

I went with 1/2 size smaller than most athletic shoe that I wear and they fit great even with a thin sock. I'm really surprise how comfortable and even breathable these shoes are. It's spring time and still not sweltering heat but even in 80 degrees they dont feel hot at all. They give me good support, look great for my job of managing work crews for my rental properties so I'm in the yard, office, mud, bank, whatever, they fit in fine for my routine. I'm now ordering the outscape chelsea for my hobby farm. Love the slip on / off for frequent trips in and out of the house.

With socks it will be tight, Especially in the day as your feet swell. They have a narrow toe box. Most of these shoes are flat footed, I need a little arch and heel support that these have. I'm going up 1/2 size.

This was the second pair I ordered to replace the first pair. The liner to the footbed insert became separated on both pairs after just a couple weeks of wearing. I have always been very pleased with the quality of Muck Boots, but these need improvement to the footbed liner. I will be returning these replacement pair as well.
