I have previously purchased this same brand and style and loved them. Not sure what changed but these were very tight in the toes, making them very uncomfortable.? I returned them.

Very different from Venture 7. My foot slips forward regardless of how I tie the shoelaces and what kind of socks I wear. Because the foot slips, the big toe ends up against the front of the shoe and this causes ingrown nails and discomfort. They're not good for power walks (3K, 5K and even less 10K) and extended low-mid impact activities. The color and style was so awesome that I delayed returning them. I now regret it. The window has passed and I am stuck with a cute pair of shoes that I cannot use in my workout activities. I will not buy Venture 8 again and, if I but Asics again, I'll stick to Venture 7.

I ordered my size 7.5 and they were too short, width is fine. I decided to keep them because I got them cheap. The quality is ok, I wore them bike riding but when I got off to walk in them I could feel how little room I had in length, half size up would have been good.

My 3rd paid of Gel Venture because I stick with a product that works. I buy the wide width but unfortunately this new pair has a shorter and narrower toe box making them very uncomfortable. Even the heel end of the shoe seems narrower than my current pair forcing my foot forward. Thank you for the 30 day Runlimited Guarantee but after just 6 days in these I know they will not work for me.

The fit, size, and material were fine. I was disappointed at the lack of cushion for a new shoe.

These felt smaller than the other brands of the same size. I need shoes with a wide toe area and a little extra length beyond the end of my big toe. I am afraid these shoes would feel too narrow and not long enough in the toe

I ordered my usual size 11 and it was too small so I returned them

The size was off on this shoe. I have worn nothing but size 9.5 Asics for years. The shoe was flimsy and did not provide any structural support. I can't imagine this being used as a trail shoe. The shoe was poorly made.

So disappointed. The shoe is too narrow and too short. Great looking shoe. Wish it had fit properly.

I have been a faith Asics runner for years. This year I finally dropped them. Either their shoes have gotten narrower and/or my feet have gotten wider. When I run, my toes need space and the pointing end of this shoe was too much for my toes. I tried a size up and it didn't help. I tried breaking the shoes in, didn't help. I finally concluded I'm done with Asics. I got a different brand (Altra Lone Mountain 6) that were the same size but with a bigger toe box - felt good right away so I know it wasn't incorrect sizing.

Had to return because needed a wide width----Zappos excellent with return; ordered a similar item in last year's model which I already have---needed a 2nd one!

This didn't feel like a wide at all (ordered W). Will have to return for that reason. Otherwise a pretty shoe for a reasonable price.

Don’t like the color

A little cramped in the toe box, too loose in the heel. I need the opposite of that. Not really any cushion on the bottom, I think my feet would get pretty sore walking some miles.

I have bought the Asics Venture shoe for years. I have always worn a size 9. Bought a pair of the Venture-8 and a size 9 was too small. Bought a size 9.5 which fit better for length but still are more narrow than what I'm used to the Venture being. I'm keeping them but, they're sure not the shoe they used to be. Honestly, the Venture-5 was the last good Venture. They just keep gradually getting worse, IMO. This newest pair will be my last.

I love the bright cheerful color! This shoe runs small and is cheaply made. I would not recommend for a person who is serious about workouts! Maybe a house slipper. Returning!

Way too small Felt like they were mislabeled as I ordered the size I always wear.

These shoes were a whole size above what I normally wear, and they were still too small.

Wanted to like it, but the toe box was tight and uncomfortable. Will go back to the Gel Nimbus

I ordered a 7.5 first and it was way to small. I then ordered an 8W and that second pair was even smaller. I returned both and went with Merrell's instead, which fit way better.
