No other shoes feel as comfortable to me as these. I wear them for aerobics class three days a week and for long walks. I like the thickness of the sole especially.
I am also glad they changed the shoelaces.

This is a very comfortable shoe. Unfortunately, because a wear a lift in one shoe, my heel kept slipping out. The foot bed is not deep enough to accomodate a lift or a thick orthodic.

I've been with Asics for years, on the grounds that they always seem to fit my particular foot like a glove. Overall, however, their quality at the low end has sacrificed much over the years, and my last pair were quite horrible. These however, pass my "acceptible" test: reasonable cushion and stability, a reasonable arch that seems like it might last 6 mo., and a reasonable upper that might also make it to 6 mo. Every single one fails in the same way for me- big toe pokes a hole through the toe of the shoe.

These venture 8"s seem shorter than the other gel venture models I've worn. It's like I need a half size up. All other ASICS have fit fine ordering my usual size

My only critiques of these shoes are (1) the toe box is still a tad narrow for being wide shoes and (2) the structure inside the top of the heel needs to be sewn in to avoid rolling (This is only an issue if you, like me, have a bad habit of not untying your shoes when you put them on).

US 6 has been my regular ASICS size for decades. This feels a tad smaller, toes almost touch the front. Great comfort, the pink highlights are a bit garish.

I usually order a 1/2 size up from my regular size when I buy sneakers. I ordered these in a size 9W. The width seems fine. the support is good. But I need to order them in a 9 1/2 and 10 in order to see which size will fit better. I use sports cotton socks (a little thicker) and inserts for plantar fasciitis. When I put all that on, my toes are all pushed tight to the front of the sneakers. The width is fine, and the support seems good. I will reorder in bigger sizes to see which is better.

It was time to refresh my running shoes and ASICS have always been great for wide width choices. The toe box on this style was not as wide as expected, unable to wear running sox comfortably with this shoe version. Ordered a version previously order and had great success with comfort. No longer a running shoe option as foot protection and comfort inside the shoe is also important.

Nice shoe, fits just right for a 7 wide. Only thing I can say is I am not fond of the shoe strings. When you pull them a little tight on the foot it will cut into the top above the ankle.
