These shoes are the best I have found for on-road / off-road use! They offer great traction on all surface's including but not limited to dirty, muddy , leaf covered trails and / or all of the loose stuff your going to encounter going up / down hill and I have really noticed just how good they are when my plans change and I have on my other ASICS on for running! Like all ASICS, they slip on / off easily, offer many different options for the perfect fit so they are incredibly comfortable and will last till there is absolutely NO tread left on them! I will only buy ASICS now because nothing lasts as long at any price point!!

Strange sizing. Was 11.5 in GEL-venture 7 and loved them. This, I ordered the same size here and it was too big so I went down half a size to 11 and that is unfortunately too big too! Will try one last time and order 10.5 but if that doesn’t fit will have to abandon this style.

The size was way off (large), and seems more of a intermittent manufacturing/QA related than anything. (Having worn several pairs of Asics over the years.) -- Functionally it was a full 1/2-3/4 size larger; even measured the sole against other Asics Gel Ventures (same size and sole pattern, but prior versions). Also, the toe-box of the shoe was jammed so full of paper (packaging paper) it was essentially blown out and oversized (contributing to the general oversize problem). -- Otherwise always enjoy Asics shoes.

Fit and size were fine. I'm a previous buyer, and had a great experience last time, so I returned for another pair of trainers, and am very satisfied with a nice, comfortable running shoe. Free shipping and a coupon made this purchase very budget-friendly.

Awesome shoes. My only complaint is that now Zappos uses the Post Office for their delivery. Once again my shoes were mis-delivered. I had to wait a few extra days for one of my neighbors to bring my shoes to my house. Never had this problem back when Zappos used UPS. Almost a deal killer now for me.
