Lightweight, supportive, comfortable, and they look great!

I've been buying ASICS gels for my kids since they were little. Now they're wearing men's 11s and they still love them. Gels have been especially good for my son with low arches. His feet always hurt until I found these.

Best sneakers to run and to work out love for everyday use

This model of ASICS is probably the best athletic shoe I have ever purchased. It is supportive, offers excellent cushioning, grips terrain superbly, and is built like a tank. Probably the most durable outsole I've seen on an athletic shoe. Perfect for hiking, walking, and jogging on any type of ground from roads to off-road areas. I recommend a more cushioned shoe for long-distance running (over 6-7 miles), but for anything up to that these would be fine. I always have one pair in rotation and a spare for when my main pair wears out (it takes upwards of a year of very heavy use). No better value athletic shoe exists!

This shoe fits very well and the sole wears like iron.

The gel venture 8 is my boyfriend's go to shoes. They fit great and hold up very well over time. This is his fifth pair we have purchased and will not be the last. We highly recommend this shoe if you have back issues.

Best shoe with insane toughness!! I've tried every shoe and boot you can think of. I love my Gel Venture 7/8s. I can get more time out of these than a work boot before breakdown and new shoes are needed. ASICS #1 and uncontested

Width is comfortable . Soft yet strong and good balance and never feel tired even if I walk many miles. Good style and attractive brand.

I feel like the wife's give me a better feel, and I don't feel like I have exceptionally wide feet. But on sale under 50 bucks is great. My other pair of Asics were slightly big so I ordered a half size smaller but then had to return for my normal size cause those were to small.

GEL-VENTURE 8 extra wide are more all around comfortable compared to the GEL-VENTURE 9.
