I'm a 9.5 - tried a 42 and a 43. 43 fits more comfortably. 42 was just a tiny bit too short.

I wear a 9.5 normally, the reviews said run big and I chose a size 42/8 and they fit almost perfect. Maybe a tiny bit small but I think a 8.5 would be too big. So, 9.5 normal would equal a size 8.25.

The *buck version feels great! The non-buck version is a bit stiff on the strap edges at first. As for sizing: Don't know why Mephisto calls their size 41 equivalent to a US 7 ?!? The sizing on the 41/7 Mephisto Conrad sandals is perfect for me (and similar to my favorite 8/41 Born 4-strap 1-buckle slide sandals worn seasonally from '06 to '20--when their MM soles quit being soles. BTW: My typical shoe size is US 9 D, and EU 42, (ranges: 8.5-9.5, 41.5-42) in most shoe/boot brands I own. I'm so glad I learned to not fear the Mephisto 7 and love their 41; the Conrad fits my 8.5-9 D shoe-sized feet perfectly (whereas the Black 42 first ordered would be better suited for 9.5D-sized feet).

Zappos recommended size was monstrously big so I returned in exchange for one size smaller. Still too big, particularly since straps cannot be tightened. So these sandals will be for lounging around home, not for general walking about

Im a size 10, i ordered these size 9 and were perfect fit.

Fantastic Sandal. Runs a size large so be aware of that before ordering.

a little larger than i expected

These looked to be terrific . I have a very high instep and when I tried them on, the top of my foot barely touched the leather straps. There was no way I could walk in these without my foot falling out of them. Very surprised and extremely disappointed.
