They have become my favorite shoe for any outside walking. This was my 4th pair!!

I wore these shoes on hiking in Utah for 10 days. Very comfortable and my foot and toes were happy.

Great, I'm 65 hi arch, wide foot. Wore the hi tops all over iceland all day, snug heel, flexible but sturdy, sole is not rock hard.

I needed something sturdy and was worried the low cut would be too low. NOPE! I feel like my ankles are protected from me tripping and my feet are very comfortable in these shoes. I havent worn them in wet/damp conditions yet but Im confident theyll be just as great as my hiking boots. Recommended for all!!

Ordered a wide to fit 'German Foot' shape or slight bunion (vs wide for edema issues) and this Sypes is NOT so wide at ball of foot area. It also seems small in general. Will try 1/2 size up and see. However, the design of sole does give good arch support vs Ousel WaterProof wide.

I like my Sypes except for the shoe laces. They are too short to tie because I have a very high arch.

I had to return my shoes too small in my usual size. I needed at least half-size up. Unfortunately the next size in that color color was not available. Nice looking shoe, would have kept if they fit.

The uppers were too stiff. I returned the shoes.

My hiking has been pain free. I feel totally stable !! Super happy with these well made hiking shoes.

This is my second pair of Sypes, and I love them. I wore them straight out of the box on a 5 hour hike in Glacier National Park with no issues. Great support and very comfortable!

Love all Oboz, this one, like the other has great fit and lasts long (Daily walk is 2-4 miles) on city streets and moderate trail hikes

Dear Oboz, I loved these shoes, but they were unwearable because of a flaw. The waterproof lining on the top of the toe box was not secured, and the lining was drooping down into the toe box. It rubbed on the top of my toes with every step. I had ordered my first pair from REI, and when I reported this flaw to them, they sent me a second pair. The second pair had the same problem. I will be returning both these pairs to REI. I then ordered a third pair directly from Oboz, still hoping this flaw was just an aberration. The pair from Oboz also arrived with the lining in the toe box drooping down. I called customer service twice, and was told this should not be happening. They said the lining should be secured with stitching, but there is no stitching on the top of the toebox on these shoes! No one had any solution for me. This is a big disappointment, because it is very difficult for me to find shoes that fit, and these were perfect.

The fit is perfect and they are keeping my feet dry in the morning dew when walking my dog. This is my 4th pair of oboz shoes. I keep coming back!

Something strange with wrong size inner lining that sags down from the leather over top of your foot. Im wondering if it would end up rubbing me raw. Love them otherwise. Just cant decide if this flaw will be a problem. My husbands Sypes has it a little but it is much more prominent of a design flaw in the fabrication of the womens Sypes.

Thank you for the WIDE Width in this Shoe. You should offer this in all your Shoes!!!

All Oboz shoes I have are great. So much better than whatever else os out there

I love these shoes! I wear them for work and they are so comfortable. Ive never had to break them in either. Ready to go right out of the box. Working 12-16 hours a day I have to have something that supports my feet and mostly my back. These keeping me working all day.

Really comfortable with good arch support. Great right out of the box. Wore them in muddy area feet stayed dry.

I have one pair of Oboz hiking shoes and was looking for more support. I have a posterior tibial tendon problem so finding shoes that offer stability is not easy. These were close but didnt free what I need. That said, Im guessing that many others without foot issues would find them great.

They fit to the size I ordered. They are comfortable and supportive

Probably best as a summer shoe. Does not have the stickiness needed for winter hiking.

These are my first pair of Oboz shoes. Very comfortable; I can wear them all day. And they really are waterproof. I am now a forever Oboz fan!

Great shoes, excellent fit. Great for walking in rainy Portland. Looking forward to taking them hiking in the Columbia Gorge.
