Looking over the other reviews, I bought a 1/2 size up from my normal shoe size and they were perfect. I broke them in with a few 3M walks on pavement and dirt, then did a more challenging 9M hike. Over a rocky trail with numerous tree roots, my footing was rock solid. Had plenty of grip on wet rock as well. I was looking for a trail shoe that I could double for everyday use (admittedly, I like to keep the bare number of shoes on the shoe rack), but they skew a little too much towards a hiking shoe for everyday wear. Took a star off of "Style" because I bought mine in Steel and the color was off quite a bit from the photos. Mine are more greenish-brown than gray. The different was enough that I actually had to confirm I got the right color.

Thank goodness for Zappos! We're going to Scotland and I need a waterproof shoe. I have tried 11 shoes just at Zappos, none fit. I generally wear Altra shoes which are great but even their waterproof wide didn't fit. Either the wides are not wide enough, or like this Oboz, no matter what socks I wore the heel slipped. Of the 11 shoes I tried, this Oboz was the most comfortable. Thank you Zappos for free shipping.

Comfortable from the first wear… and a cool balance of style and function. As usual for Oboz, great arch support with the standard insole.

These are nice looking shoes that are comfortable out of the box, but durability stinks--the lining behind the heel starting falling apart within the first 4-5 weeks I had them, and after 5-6 months of wear the toe rands are separating from the leather, the stitching is coming apart, and one shoe has a huge hole where the leather has pulled away from the rubber sole. I'm fairly tough on shoes, but these are hands down the least durable pair of hiking footwear I've tried. No more Oboz for me.

These shoes were A++. I love them. I'd be happy to buy a dozen pairs and hope to wear them for a long time after. Unfortunately, the toe cap started peeling off... and then kept peeling off. I'm sending them back under warranty and buying a pair of Lowa. Oboz is having MAJOR supply chain issues and couldn't offer a replacement pair.

size was too small, medium width was very tight, length was true.

My husband lives in these. Stays waterproof. I will be ordering his third pair soon.

These Oboz hiking shoes were great on our trip to Amazon River, wish I would have had these when in Africa. So comfortable, I have wide feet and could walk in the forever,

Fit was true to size as my other sneakers. I used these for a week straight of walking around Rome Italy. Amazing comfort. Looking to buy more colors.

Too narrow in forefoot and toe box for my foot. Otherwise, this a fantastic hiking shoe with a very nice fit and support to the heel and mid foot.

These are like all the Oboz line. Awesome fit and durabilty. On my 6th pair now.
