I usually wear 8.5 medium. These sandals only come in whole sizes so I went with an 8. The fit is good but I think it might could be a bit better in an 8.5. That said, I’m still thrilled with them because the comfort level combined with the arch support is unsurpassed! The arch support is not as pronounced as Vionic sandals but it is sufficient and much more cushy and comfortable! The entire footbed is very cushioned and feels great underfoot during my 3 mile walks. It’s stable enough for walking on both paved and unpaved surfaces! Great supportive walking sandal, especially for the price!

Size and fit are fine for me, however if you have a narrow foot then the strap across the front will probably not tighten up enough for you, it barely does for me and I have a slightly wide foot. My only other "complaint" is that the tab on the end of that strap sticks out, there is no velcro to fasten it down but that does not affect the performance of the sandal.

These Sketcher sandals are perfect for my problem feet. I walk several miles every day which includes climbing up to top of Mesa. I can wear these all day and not have sore feet that evening.

It's difficult to judge the "true" size and width on these sandals because they don't come in half sizes. I have 2 other pairs of Skechers Arch Fit that are size 8.5 and they fit perfect. The size chart recommended that 1/2 sizes should order up one size, so I have a size 9. They are too long for my feet and the toe straps are too wide and won't tighten enough on my feet. Also because they are long, the arch support doesn't fit exactly right. I didn't buy these for style, I bought them for walking. They are a bit frumpy, but part of that may also be because they are too long. I'm probably going to keep these but am hoping the Rust color will be restocked and I'll order a size 8. If they fit properly, they would be comfortable like my other Skechers with good foot cushioning and like walking on air.

I love these sandals BUT the velcro straps were different lengths and the velcro on one of the sandals quit working! Really? It's like the quality control was out to lunch when they were made. However, they are absolutely the most comfortable sandals I've ever had. Too bad about the strap problems...I have VERY fussy feet. I took these on a couple of trips and I could walk as far and long as I could in my sneakers with custom insoles.
