Wear them much more during summer season. Old pairs get saved for snowy road runs during the winter.

I'm new to hiking and these shoes are soooo comfy and supportive. I can wear them hiking or to work at my PT job. They are also really cute and that's not nothing! Highly recommend Topos. I also have the running shoe and it's wonderful as well.

I would change nothing except a little more arch support. I have 4 pairs of these because I want to have the model last as long as possible for me. I do a lot of trails/hills. Have used for Grand Canyon Rim to Rim, Mount Whitney and all the local mountains. Best shoes ever for my 61 year old feet.

I use my Ultraventure Pro shoes for hiking. They are very comfortable to wear for several hours, much more comfortable, and less heavy than hiking boots. I like the shoe's roomy toe box, and also the great traction that the Vibram soles provide. This is my first pair of Topo shoes and I plan to buy a replacement pair when this one wears out.

I am thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail and purchased these based on recommendations from fellow hikers when my higher-drop Solomons were causing tight Achilles. Just the right width (Altras are too wide for me!) and I love that they have a rock plate and Vibram sole. Only issue is that they fall apart quicklya common trail practice is to line the seams with super glue from the very start to get more mileage out of each pair. It would be great if they were made a little more durable from the start.

I wear my trail shoes for "everything outdoors- light hikes, trails, and other outdoor activities) They are very agile for the trails and provide adequate protection from light trail obstacles. Unfortunately I had a defective shoe but customer service was very responsive and corrected the issues. (This is my 3rd pair of TOPOs. My first 2 were Magnifly's which I dedicate to my treadmill.)

I wear them for light hiking--so far--and around my small town. They're so comfortable and supportive I don't want to take them off. My orthotics fit perfectly in them.

The wide toe box is honestly what makes this shoe for me. The fit is true to size and I've done several backpacking trips in them and they hold up. I only wish that there was a waterproof version I could buy!

I wear these shoes hiking and to walk to trail heads. They are very lightweight with excellent grip even on wet rocks. They dry extremely quickly and I love the drainage channels. These are great in hot weather. The only drawback is the laces. They come untied and loosen easily.

I alternate wearing my Topos with another brand shoe that is comfortable but offers less support. I wear Topos on steep and or rocky terrain. I hike about 30 miles per week.

Good fit. Sort of wish they were gore-tex. Hope they last for years!!

I have wide feet and was using another brand that jacked up my feet royally. But a great sales person mentioned Topo Athletic and I purchased 3 different pairs. My favorite is the ultraventure pro! Wow rock scrambling is a breeze now with these shoes thanks to the vibram megagrip and the rockplate!! The toe box is extra roomy and I can hike in them for miles and miles as they are so comfortable. My boyfriend and friends have now ordered them as well. Highly recommend!! Thank you Topo for such a great shoe.

Terrific for aging walker (74) who spends the better part of the day on my feet. Walking, cooking, gardening. Thanks for the great shoes!

Use these for trail running. Love the wide toe box. Reminds me of the altras but has a drop which is what I wanted.

I love my topos and I recommend them to almost every customer that comes into my work. They are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I wear them to work, when I go running, and general day-to-day. The vibram outsole has amazing traction. I plan to continue purchasing this shoe.

I use my Topo's for dog walking on gravel roads in PNW. I also go hiking here with lots of wet slippery roots. I just love these sneakers so much that I truly can't wait to get another pair. I was skeptical about fit and for me they seem very true to size. I love the natural feel they have wide toe box and snugger on the heal. Thanks Topo for making a truly wonderful shoe. I think I have found my new favorite brand.

I bought these wonderful shoes on the basis of a strong Wirecutter review, in preparation for AIDS Walk Philly (I'm a physician). They are so supportive and light that I wear them on my daily 1.5 mile walk to work and most weekend errands. For city sidewalks or country scrambles, these are the best walking shoes I've ever owned. Worth every penny!
