I ordered a 9 and a 10 of these boots for an Alaskan river canoe trip - minimal portages, so won't need to be hiking in them, so wearing them on the river, getting in and out of canoe and in camp when not on the river. 9 is my usual size and the 9 fit well with one pair of Smartwool socks, but because the river is going to be very cold and the weather could get cold (for me, anyway, I'm a FL native) I wanted them big enough to wear two pairs of socks. So I went with the 10. These boots come highly recommended by folks who do these sorts of trips in Alaska.

Super cute and I love the style. Just wish it was a little bit more generous in the calf area. I would consider myself just slightly above average in the calf region and it’s a near perfect fit but just wish it was a little bit more roomy

These didn’t get a full 5 star only because they don’t really fit around my calves and are hard to get on and off probably because my claves. If you thick calves their to small around the tops

LOVE these boots! The inside print was even cooler than I thought it would be, with blues, greens, and purple swirls and fish. The foot bed has cushy centers for the heel and toe pads which are more comfortable than other XtraTuffs I have had in the past that just had a flat foot bed. They fit as expected!

I normally wear size 9 to 9.5 shoes. Bought these for an upcoming 12 day canoe trip in Alaska. This brand and style was highly recommended by everyone our trip leader (a friend) interacted with as he planned the trip. The weather and water, even though in August, is likely will be cool to cold (for a So Cal person), so wanted them big enough to allow for the insulating value of 2 pairs of socks. The 9 was too small to allow that; the 10 required getting a really thick Patagonia fleece oversock to go over my smartwool base layer sock. But that sock combo makes the 10 fit well - it doesn't slip up and down on my heel or squish my feet because too tight. Not a hiking boot, at least for me, more of a paddle/camp boot, but that's what I was looking for. I'm feeling good about it matching the type of trip we are going on. They are very bulky, so the next challenge is to fit them in my gear bag. Not really wanting to wear on the plane!

Our family was going to Alaska for 10 days and we were told to bring rubber boots. Thank goodness for Xtratuf boots. I bought four pair and we were thrilled at how comfortable and skid proof they were. My daughter especially loved them because you can roll down the top and have a pattern. I had never heard of these boots before planning our trip. We hiked in some pretty remote, muddy, wet and slippery conditions and these boots were lifesavers. I cannot say enough good things about them!

Just fine, good quality, fit well. So glad Zappos had these boots.

They are a great boot ,good grip on ice need warm socks otherwise would not be warm in winter very happy with them and the ability to roll down or up is a great perk

These look incredible! Unfortunately, the neoprene at the top of the boot started to pull away the very first time I wore it. I have attempted to superglue it in hopes that it will stay put. If I find out that it doesn’t I will be returning these before the open gusseted version although it won’t have the cute blue accents.

Didn’t give 5/5 because of the weird residue on the outside of the boots that was on them right out of the box. It’s slimy and brown and I have to keep wiping them down otherwise I can’t touch the outside without getting my hands all sticky. It’s really weird. I keep them in and outdoor/covered alcove on our porch and every time I go out to put them on, it’s there again and looks streaky all over them. They are very comfortable, but the residue is just weird. I’m assuming it’s some protective coating, but I really have no clue. Style is really cute and I love the aqua-colored soles. Sets them apart from other styles in the same brand family.
