After two months of almost daily use/wear, walking several miles per day, I can say I'm as happy with the value of this purchase as the day I received them. This is an extremely warm, comfortable and rugged, light weight short boot, and have great traction on a variety of surfaces with their Muck brand out-sole.
I feel like Muck brand boots may occasionally suffer from individual runs, or lines of footwear which fail on quality control due to location of manufacture/facilities experience of manufacture with materials. Other times I feel their glut of style offerings gets in the way of customers making informed repeat purchases, leading some customers to not receive the "commercial grade, work boot" they expected, both of which lose Muck one star.
All that being said, these "foreman's boots" are at the lighter end of commercial grade though I can say they feel extremely well constructed of below zero temp/crimp tolerant rubber, and I have no lack of confidence they are going to hold up for my daily, pedestrian commuter needs in the pacific northwest city winter, as well as occasional light off road hiking and yard work. If I were back on the farm I would want a taller, over the calf boot, but as they stand the height is perfect for easy on/off by the front door for letting the dog out into the muddy yard or to run to the corner convenience store, and the ample opening allows a wide degree of ankle range of motion for driving activities. If I were regularly performing heavy digging or climbing work I would want lace up work boots with a heavier shank, but these would be great for daily landscaping or outdoor commercial home repair trades, as well as "built to last" daily commuters.

Wear 10.5 in most sneakers. Bought 11 and was too big. 10s fit great. Using these mainly for the Winter to Spring transition. Backyard gets muddy / swampy. Helps when taking out the dogs. Easy to slip off and on.

Super comfortable and 100% waterproof. I bought these because i volunteer at a farm sanctuary and needed some vegan boots to wear that were mud and water resistant and comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Bought these after hearing from friends how great they were. Key word "were". The sole is coming right off 4m9nths after purchasing. Won't be buying another pair from this company or their other companies.

I have read the other reviews of them falling apart - I haven't had this. I wanted these to have to slip on in the mornings and nights when I take my dogs out and the lawn is wet. I can kick them on/off and are perfect for my needs. Have worn them to the store on rain days. I throw them in the truck to keep them with me on road trips in case I'd need to deal with car trouble in the rain.

I purchased these boots a couple of years ago to use when the weather got between 30 and 40 while hunting or working outside. Since i purchased them, I only used them about 5 times per year. However, this year I noticed the sole by the toe has begun to separate from the boot (see pictures). Muck would not replace the boot. I am very disappointed with the performance and that the company does not stand behind the product. Thier policy of a 1-year warranty does not make sense for a boot that is only used in the wintertime or so infrequently throughout the year. In researching, I notice that Muck is owned by Rocky Boots, which owns several other brands too. I don't plan to purchase other Rock Boots brands due to this warranty policy for this type of boot.
