The quality of these tote bags are just not to par. The bag was mostly stored in closet for most of 2021 due to pandemic. We were surprised when discovering cracks and peelings. It rather unfortunate that this is happening and Kate Spade would not standby their product because it exceeded the 1 year warranty. So strongly suggest that you keep a close eye for any signs and be sure to bring it back to store within a year. Don't make the same mistake like we did.

I loved this bag sooo much! The color is beautiful. However, the quality of the bag is poor. The paint or whatever material they put on the outside of the straps peels and the straps themselves cracked and are coming apart from the bag. I change bags every month, so it is not a bag that got significant use. I used it in May 2021 and May 2022. When I reached out to customer service I was told this was normal "wear & tear" and I should find someone who can replace or reinforce the straps for me. Unfortunately this was my first and last Kate Spade bag.

So disappointed! I bought the orchid pink color, but it doesn't look like the color on the website. I keep wondering if the wrong bag was sent to me. The one I got is a dull pink color.

Bad costumer service, bad quality of item. Will not buy again
