Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Been helpful to have on hikes and backpacking. Definitely helps keep some area of my hand much cleaner. Doesn’t feel warm having them on.

Excellent, lightweight, rugged gloves that eliminate sweat, but still have enough grip to do many scrambles

I've been paddling in these for a year now. They protect my hands from the sun and help grip the paddle. Great for hiking also. If the get wet they dry in minutes. Recently I went for a drive in my sports car on a sunny day and wore them. Worked great. Protected from the sun and gripped the wheel. Easy washing too.

I love the coverage past the wrist. I don't drive on sunny days without these! Great alternative to reapplying SPF all day.

These work well at absorbing sweat and gripping trekking poles. Time will tell how long they last.

These keep my hands well protected from sun and trekking pole strap abrasion. They fit snug enough to not bunch up and the palm grips give just enough grip on trekking pole handles. Very light and cool, no reason to not own a pair and keep them tucked in a pocket in case you need them.

I used a pair of these gloves during my Grand Canyon Rim to Rim hike in September and they were perfect when the sun came up during the long one-day 27-mile trip. I used hiking poles and the use of the thin fingerless gloves was perfect to provide some protection while holding the poles and the sun as temperatures closed in on close to 100 degrees at the bottom. I just bought a second pair with a different color for more adventures.

Does exactly what you would expect. Protects your hands from the sun and provides a grippy surface for whatever you're holding. Nice and cool and I use them all the time.

I wished I had gotten these gloves sooner. My hands are now protected from the sun. The gloves are lightweight and comfortable. Beware the light color does tend to show dirt and stains; it washed fine. Next time I will opt for the darker color.

These come in handy hiking S AZ to keep the sun off. Take little to no room in a small pack pocket. I just wish OR would make them in GREEN again.

If you spend much time in open areas (mountains, on water, prairies) where the sun is intense, these are a game changer for protecting back of the hands from sun damage. Nice and light. I would not say they are actively cooling, but they do not overheat.

These things are a gamechanger for me, for paddling. Waterproof sunscreen is often slippery, not really waterproof, impossible to see if it is working, and generally a hassle. These gloves prevent sunburn while kayaking or canoeing, are less expensive than sunscreen eventually, provide evaporative cooling when you dip your hand in the water, and are smooth enough to not raise blisters. I have an old pair with no "traction bumps" on the palm, and a new pair with those dots - both are good, and the dots are a small improvement.
