I use these for cycling, Road, Gravel and Mountain. I've tried many of the Sun Sleeves made by cycling specific companies and these are by far the best. They are soft and flexible so don't bind. They also stay up the best. I wish that OR made arm and knee warmers.

I used the sun sleeves for the first time on a 5 day backpacking trip. They kept me cool - absorbed sweat, let my armpits breath, and were comfortable and cooling. Only downsides were the smell on the top of the sleeves from my armpit and the dirt on the hands from my pole straps. They don't look clean after a wash but that is ok with me.

These sun sleeves are great. I feel that they keep my arms cool and they do a much better job of protecting my skin from the sun in comparison to sunscreen. I like using them with gloves so I would prefer if they did not have the thumb hole, it would be nice if they would make a version without it.

So I'm 5'11, 165lb and ordered the L/X so they definitely don't compress but that's not what I am looking for. They stay up during runs, really comfortable and made with quality. I have 2 pairs now and will use these often.

I had purchased numerous sleeves till date for my cycling and Outdoor Research is the most comfortable so far. I feel sad for my older sleeves but I just can't bring myself to use them again

Great material, good options for grip and fingers. No sunburn!

I work outdoors a lot and have very fair skin. These sleeves are amazing: the material is very comfortable, even covers the back of your hands, has grip pads so you can still use your hands to work, and they stay up all day long. Even after several washes, they material remains like new. I tell everyone that I work with that they need to invest in a few pairs.

The sleeves work well and are easier to carry on runs than a sun hoodie.

As a pasty Ginger, sun protection is a major concern when building a multiday backpacking gear list. I combine the sunsleeves with either the OR sun bucket or the OR Visor depending on the time of year as well as the OR buff. I take the three OR items on every adventure. I am a major fan of OR products. I have a couple items that are almost 30 years old and still in working order. Thank you OR.

They protect your arms from the sun very well. They are comfortable, stay in place without constricting, and don't feel hot. So much nicer to use these than sunscreen, especially on long backpacking trips where sunscreen is limited, heavy and hard to wash off.

The small fit me (female) well. Other brands, the small is too tight, but this fit well. I am 5'3, 130lbs. The grip helps with not sliding down which is also a huge plus.

These sleeves are absolutely the bomb. I'm a mail carrier in Arizona and these keep my arms from burning. The heather blue color is great and hides dirt super well. They stay up perfectly with the sticky band at the top. The material is quality and hasn't pilled or snagged on anything, and that's saying a lot because I put them through the wringer. I wet them throughout the day with ice water from my cooler and it's like having AC on my arms. Lastly, for sizing I would say the smaller one will fit more people than you might expect. I am a tall woman with long arms and was torn thinking I should get the larger size. But these are plenty long. Larger size is probably best if you have big biceps etc. I'll be using these for years to come (ordered 5 pairs) and I can't wait to get some more active ice gear for work.

I have an OR hat with ActiveIce and love it, so I tried these sleeves. I used them on a week long bike tour and was very comfortable on the hottest days. These also provided great sun protection of my whole arms, easily extending under my bike jersey sleeves. I've tried several other brands and sizes when options were available, but these are the best I have used, and will be the only ones I use in the future.

Now that I've had these a few weeks using them when paddling in conditions including sunny, blazing and muggy, I've gotta say they really do the job. I like not having to use sunscreen on my arms now. On the most brutal days they offer protection and comfort that sunscreen alone does not. And they are lighter than the long sleeve paddling shirts I use. Being able to take them off when not needed is great. Whether on a tough or just normal kind of day, every bit of breeze is felt. Wish I'd discovered these earlier. As long as they hold up well, I'll be real happy. Going gentle on the laundering.

I love the OR Astroman short sleeve blouses for how light and comfy they are for biking, but sometimes need to keep the sun off my arms so these sleeves are the best! Light, and tight enough and easy to stuff in my pack!

The sleeves fit really well and don't move around while working out. Great sun protection and they keep me cool on the trail!

Great for sun protection on a 12 day backcountry hike in NM. Thumb hole helps cover hands well enough t that I didn't need/use the sun gloves I brought.

I've been doing lots of work this year in the yard and gardens and desperately needed something to cover my arms and keep cool at the same time. These are so perfect. I will definitely buy more!

Great for sun protection doing farm work. Surprisingly good at keeping you cool. I have long thin arms and was worried they would be too loose but they stay in place. Very happy!

Been using these whenever I get the chance. I'm especially happy with the product quality. The material feels nice on your skin. The little rubber sections hold onto your arms nicely so it doesn't slip when active. And when it's very hot out my arms feel cool and when it's a bit windy out, it helps keep me a little bit warm against the cool wind. Would definitely buy this product again if mine become too worn out. But I heavily doubt that will be an issue because I see these lasting me a long time! 10/10 product.

Protected a forearm tattoo in the harsh sun of Morocco while maintaining flexibility in garment selection. Sun shirts can get old real quick when shade is abundant but you don't want to sunscreen up for the outings into the sun. The thumbhole and middle finger loop are amazing and so functional.
