I AM A WALKER AND WORK OUT ONCE I LACED PROPERLY SHOE IS COMFORTABLE. VERY ATTRACTIVE AS WELL LONG TIME USER

Purchased my first pair of NB. Great shoe. I usually wear size 14 with the competition. I purchased a size 14 in NB and they are a bit big. I should have purchased size 13.5. I use them for jogging and are great.

I prefer 998, but I couldn't find 998s in my size.

Used for walking the neighborhood. Very good for concrete.

I like the shoes very much and they fit well mostly. My right foot is larger than left one and in beginning right one was a bit tight but after wearing them it is fine. I do wish they were somewhat lighter but overall I am pleased with the shoes and the quality.

. . . the fit is not as good as the Style 993 (my size 9.5, 4W). The 990v5 is a little longer (and looser in the back) and a bit narrower in the front (but still ok). I use these running shoes as walking shoes, as I have done with New Balance running shoes for years, and so far the 990v5 shoes are good to very good.

The 990 is a great shoe... I use it to run about 3 miles a couple times a week. I like some of the other styles, however they all do not come on the extra wide sizes..... EE, EEE, EEEE etc I wish they did...

This is a comfortable shoe which provides good support and cushioning and comes in a variety of widths. I enjoy the shoe but wish it was less expensive.

I'm impressed by the quality of design and construction of these running shoes. The only "negative" aspect of ordering online is that I did not try on the same model of shoes one half size smaller to see if they would be a better fit. I may try ordering a smaller size next time.

I really like the Navy Blue 990's...a nice change from the usual grey, and they go well with my ubiquitous blue jeans. They feel a bit warmer on the feet than I am used to and wonder if they don't contain more material than the grey ones??? Seems unlikely, but just wondering...

I'm willing to pay more for quality products that are made in the USA. These shoes are sized correctly and seem well made. They may be a little heavier than most cheap Chinese products but not much heavier. The only reason I didn't give these shoes 5 stars is because the tongue is only sewn in at the start of the laces so it will move to the side a little at the top if the laces aren't tight. Still these shoes are comfortable and much better quality than the last 2 pair of shoes made in China that weren't all that much cheaper.

I have been running in New Balance 990's for about 10 years. They provide good support and cushioning. My foot doctor has also spoken well of these.

Highly recommended product. Amazing durability, Amazing quality.

I've been buying and wearing your 990s in a 10D for many years and still love them. NB was the first running shoe company to offer widths and I believe that is a key feature. So I was surprised when placing my initial online order for these two pairs of 990s, after selecting size 10 I was then presented with 6 buttons for width, including "... Narrow, Standard, Wide and Extra-wide". I've always thought that "C" was standard width and "D" was wide so I clicked wide. When my 10 EE pairs arrived I realized my mistake, returned them, and reordered (this order). My suggestion is a simple one: why don't you include the Letter width on those buttons, as in "Standard - D" and Wide - EE" instead of only revealing the width to the buyer on the confirmation page? That's it. Thanks.

I owned V3 for many years and love them for the incredible cushion it provides. V5 is denser compared to the V3.

Either COVID-19 has made my feet a quarter size larger, or these are a bit snug compared to the 990 series I've bought many times.

i am sorry on the 990 V5 you seem to have narrowed the last and reshaped the toe, i preferred the earlier version to this with the more rounded toe box.

I use it to go for my 2-hour daily walk of about 6 miles on the beach. The first time was hard on my feet and I developed a blister otherwise I would rated it 5 stars. I am a little disappointed and hope that the future will be better. The walk can be very uneven depending on the tides and the waves.

NB all day long . I will never buy Nike again ................................

Daily footwear. Very comfortable. Insole wears to quickly.
