I love this shoe a lot. However. I only wear them one to two days a week, tops, and they’ve worn a hole in the heel on one side, which is extremely disappointing.

Great leather and construction, the shoe is too wide for me. Also, the arch support is not substantial enough for me needs. Paid the price for this shoe because I wanted a sneaker that did not require my orthotics. This isn’t it, but the Taos Union is everything!

I really like the style of this shoe, but it's not that comfortable. The right shoe rubs against my ankle, the left shoe fits okay. I tried adjusted the laces and it seems to not make a difference. The shoe is also kind of narrow. I ordered a size 10 and it's a tad big, but couldn't imagine getting a 9.5 due to the tight width. I wish I could return, but I wore them thinking they'd break in better.

Those shoes are not comfortable. They are too stiff on both sides, right at the bones, and maybe a bit too narrow (and I have a narrow fit). At this price, they should not feel that uncomfortable when you put them on and pace back and forth for a few minutes. I will not be purchasing Taos sneakers.

This shoe was well-built and comfortable, if a little heavy and stiff. That's just what happens when building a leather sneaker.

These shoes were clunky so I sent them back.

I ordered up to 8.5 because of reviews. Also ordered 8, which is my normal size. Both were too large, so I went with 7.5.

I so wanted to like these shoes. I ordered up and the fit was good enough with socks but when I walked the area across the toes creased making the top of my toes hurt and one shoe hurt the side of the ball of my foot and ankle. I could tell they had been returned as they already had creases on the top.

I SO wanted to love (or even like or tolerate) these! But alas, i don’t have time to risk breaking in at the cost of blister & pain & really, they seem so uncomfortable i can’t imagine that even broken in, that they’d be what i could wear while traveling-which was why i got them. I LOVE the idea of the zipper but laces look. Seems so perfect for long plane rides where i get up frequently or at airport-but they were torture around the house. I am so hopeful I’m considering trying if canvas ones are less blister-inducing than the leather (though it was also leather look I wanted). (& i never really write reviews, but so many claim great comfort i felt the need to offset).

I purchased these knowing I would remove the insole and put in my custom orthotics, but most of the cushion was in the insole, not in the sole, so once I had installed my orthotics, I could tell I was not going to have enough cushion for my full days on my feet as a hairstylist. But also....they were just uncomfortable shoes. Nothing about them felt comfortable. They also weren't as cute as I had hoped. The laces are just for show, and the shoes zip open alongside the laces, which is cool, but it leaves the whole tongue and laces area looking too big and awkward, it doesn't form to your foot the way it would if you were tightening and tying up the laces.

Really cute but really uncomfortable.
