These are classy looking sandals. However, sadly, I needed to send them back. The fit - length and width were good. However, they did not have enough support for me. In wearing them for one hour, in the house on carpet, my legs and back ached. I don't know if this would have changed over time or not, but with the cost of the sandals, I did not want to take a chance that it might not. I do have back, knee, and hip issues, and I have had great difficulty finding a sandal that fits correctly and has the needed arch support and stability in the sandal that I require. Thankfully, Zappos has a great return policy!

The fit is good, true to size, and highly adjustable for my very wide feet. They are basic, but look pretty good - cooler than most shoes from this brand - and they are fairly comfortable. They don't rub anywhere and seem unlikely to cause blisters. My objections: The Alegria logo printed on the footbed wore off while I was just trying them on, making them non-returnable! I have several painful foot issues, so I need to try new shoes on a couple of times and wear them around the house for a little while before I can tell if they are truly going comfortable. I wore these around inside my house for about 45 minutes total, at the end of which I decided I liked another pair of sandals I ordered better than these and wanted to return them. Everything about the sandals is still in absolutely perfect, new condition. You wouldn't be able to tell these were even tried on... except that the logo completely wore off on one footbed and is 80% off on the other. The same thing happened even faster with a pair of Easy Spirit sandals I tried on for about 10 minutes. Luckily I wanted to keep those. This has never happened to me before in the dozens of shoes I've tried in the last couple years. Now it happened twice in one month. I suspect this is a new, intentional tactic on the part of some shoe manufacturers to make it impossible to return otherwise perfect, unworn shoes that should be legitimately returnable. It has put me off these brands and I won't be trying them again. Also, the shoes squeak with every step. Annoying,

I usually wear a 10 1/2, but an 11 is always too big. I bought the 10 and it fits perfectly with my toes at the end of the sandal. They are so comfortable I wore them all day on when we were travelling, and my feet felt wonderful. Love the bright colors, too. Allegria may just become my new favorite sandal.

I really love these sandals. I got the grey/blue ones. So comfy and good support. Very adjustable also. I need a wider toe box and these are great. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love these shoes. The style is great, the fit of the footbed is great. HOWEVER, the strap around the back of my ankle isn't long enough. It barely catches on the velcro. I have several other Alegrias with a backstrap, and I do not have this issue with them. If it had a longer backstrap, I would have kept these shoes and ordered other colors. SAD!

These shoes are amazing!! I was heartbroken when I learned that I was having foot arch problems and had to wear orthopedic shoes. I care a lot about fashion and I rely on sandals. I’ve tried maybe twenty pairs, I need a sandal I can wear with a dress and walk ten miles in. I wish I’d tried these first, they are both the least expensive and most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! Unlike every other pair I’ve tried there was no break in period at all! Wore them on a mile walk the first time I tried them on! I’ve been wearing them for hours. While they are not high fashion as such, they certainly do not detract from a sundress. I would add a teeny bit more support if I could ask for anything. I have long narrow feet and they fit me perfectly.

I have narrow feet with high arches. It's difficult to find cute sandals with orthopedic comfort that fit me because most shoes like this are built for wider feet. I'm not sure how well they'd do for wide feet, but search for reviews that mention it. There's actually moderate arch support. The sole is firm with slight cushion. It would be nice if the sole was actual cork or removable. Overall I'm very pleased with the quality, look and comfort for the price tag.

Love this sandal! I have plantar fasciitis in my right foot and have been looking for sandals with removeable footbeds. I have found some sandals with removeable footbeds, but, so far, I have not found ones that fit my feet and orthodics. However! These sandals fit my feet, have a decent arch, and snug my heels such that I can wear these for several hours without foot pain. And, these are so cute in the watercolor version. The sz 36 fit me great. My right foot is 1/2 a size longer than my left foot; therefore, I wear a 36 in Dansko open-toe shoes and a 37 in Dansko closed-toe shoes. I hope this info helps you.

I love these shoes! I have several pair of Alegria shoes and sandals. The Henna is super cute and just as comfortable as my other Alegria shoes. My daughter even complimented me on them, and she is picky! I have very wide feet with bunions and fallen arches. These sandals are very comfortable and supportive. I haven't tried hiking in them; yet, if I were hiking I would wear athletic shoes. For shopping, or walking around the neighborhood, these are great!

It was such a relief to find truly wide shoes! Very good quality. I found Alegria through Zappos's search feature, and now they are a favorite.

It's like walking on a cork floor. Just fabulous. We need more colors in them.

Love these sandals! They fit like a glove and are wicked comfortable!

These shoes fit a narrower foot AND they have straps! I worry about the little buckle....fear a blister. They look OK not ravishing...kind of ortho look. Am on the fence about keeping them. I wear a 12 and finding comfy and cute fitting is difficult, but not sure....I got them in taupe, and a brighter color may be cuter.

I just didn't like how these looked in person, too clunky.

I love these so much I now have them in three colors. They are comfortable from the first day. I live in a warm climate so can wear all year round.

The Henna was comfortable and good casual shoe. It had good support, good enough to wear all day. My only problem with the shoe was the color. It is a neutral color with no personal statement. The shoe begs for some brighter colors.

I normally wear a size 8. I first ordered this sandal in the European size 38. It was at least a half size too small. I returned them and looked for other brands and tried a few of them but nothing worked. So, I decided to order the Alegria Henna again in the European size 39 after looking at a pair of Dansko clogs and seeing they were a size 39. Those European sizes can be tricky, or at least the way they are interpreted in US sizes. The 39 fits perfect and I’m very happy because these sandals were my first choice!! And yes, they are comfortable right out of the box.

These sandals are not just cute, they are super comfy and can stand up to serious wear! I bought them last summer for a 2-week trip to Sicily & Greece and wore them EVERYWHERE. These are the first sandals I’ve owned other than Birks that I can walk several miles for days in a row without chafing or blisters.

Super comfortable and I love how they are adjustable everywhere because I have a very low top of foot!

These are so comfortable. They were perfect for my last vacation. I could wear them with shorts, pants or dresses. Very versatile.
