I have 3 other pairs of Vans Asher Slip Ons in size 7 1/2 that I love. All fit comfortably. Ordered these in 7 1/2 and they were too small/too tight and they killed my feet. Spent 2 days walking around the house in them hoping they'd stretch out or feel better but they never did. Better off ordering these in a size up. I've returned them and I'm waiting for Vans to issue credit. Have since seen suede slip ons that I like and will order.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
Runs SmallRuns Large
Runs NarrowRuns Wide
Poor SupportGreat Support
As others have mentioned, the construction has been altered and as a result they feel different from the classic high top. They don't feel bad. They feel different. They're tighter and the tongue centering straps are kind of a silly add. I like the old ones better.

I love van shoes, but the skate high tops run a little small. I normally wear a 13, but need a 14 in theses because it hurts my toes, I wish I could just exchange for my size but you have to do another purchase and then wait for a refund.

I think they were great except that they are hard to put on and after a while they started rubbing against my heel. I used them to bike and scooter.

The fit on these are not how it used to be. Seems to be much smaller and material appears different. Disappointed with the shoe overall because of how great it used to be.

This is not my first pair or Vans or my first pair of Sk8-Hi. I have loved Vans for their extreme comfort and durability. I have wide feet and it's been difficult to find comfortable shoes. Vans used to be a go-to. However, they made changes to their Sk8-Hi shoes which make them a lot narrower. I tried walking around with them in my house and couldn't walk more than a few feet without being in extreme pain. If you have wider feet these are not the shoes for you.
They are super cute and I'm so disappointed I have to return them.

Took a couple times of wearing before tightness on the sides stopped which was causing pain.

Not the best shoes I've bought recently. I buy vans very often this is the first time they've been a disappointment.

Bought shoes for school. Found same pair at local sports store for $25 cheaper than I paid ordering directly from manufacturer.

I purchased a pair of Vans slip ons in a size 11 Women's/9.5 Men's and they fit great and had a lot of cushion so when I needed a new pair I ordered these and they were too tight and more narrow. I'm not sure why they changed them, but if you're considering buying these and you have bigger or slightly bigger feet, maybe try a size up. I returned them and got a different style.

Like the other reviews, the shoes tear up the back of your heel. I bought a foot petal pair that seems to have greatly helped with that though.
The shoes are tight in the toes as well, but hopefully that breaks in. If it wasn't for the heel issue, the stars would be way higher.

I was very fond of the "pro" line but this is my first pair of slip-ons after they've apparently switched to just "skateboarding" branding.
Size Up! You're more than likely gonna need to go up a size on these cause cause all the cushioning and extra material makes these a real crowded fit.
These shoes are very, very comfy and very durable in my experience.
My 3 star rating comes from the design flaw of the heel. The heels on these things bite! They dig into your skin and never seem to finally break in and stop.
Definitely never used to be an issue for me in the Pros.
Be warned! The heel digs in.

I bought for myself and my husband, I also bought a different pair in the same size. The other color fit as the ones I have purchased in the past, these were a size too small. I shipped them back with the return label and my return hasn't been processed to reorder the correct size. Still waiting for return to be processed 3 weeks later. Sheesh....

I love Vans, and all the ones I've gotten for myself and family have been great, except this one. After one wear the back of my heals, (both of them) were rubbed so raw they bled. I even tried to do the bandaid thing, but didn't work. The spot where the two seams meet at the back of the shoe is where they rub. That seam on each shoe is raised and bumpy. So, unfortunately the shoes r being returned.

Been wearing vans for over 20 years sizing has never been an real issue also never really felt the need to get the pros but guess with age things change. Went looking for pros and found that they were "upgraded" to the skate line and ordered same shoe size as always and could not wear shoes for more than 30mins. Just like other reviews say...shoes are narrower than regular classic vans. After a few days of debating whether to return shoes or not decided to order a shoe stretcher and tried it out for a few days so shoes stretch could set and they turned out great. Now shoes are broken in perfect and I can wear shoes all day without feeling like my feet are in a vice lol.

In terms of design, 10/10, totally cool. In terms of comfort, 3/10. I couldn't wear for more than an hour, they were EXTREMELY uncomfortable and tight in spite of me buying the size I normally wear in this style. Debating on keeping, as I love Silverchair, or just selling on Poshmark

I love Vans styling, these are no exception, but subtle design issue at top of heel curves inward at top of back of shoe and is more pointed and goes up higher on back of ankle, compared to different new Vans shoe of same size. Developed blisters over Achilles' tendon area first time I wore them. No Bueno

Overall well made and stylish, but there is an issue with the seam finish and shape of rear top heel of shoe that causes almost immediate skin blister over Achilles' tendon. Get some Bandaids and good socks if you want to wear

The point where the sole and the heel rubber glue together has come apart on all my Old Skools. Didn't to that back in the day. I'm sure I'm a heel dragger to a point but its a design flaw to have the whole sole fall out the bottom from a glue seam. Super comfortable shoes but longevity is poor. The photo is of a pair that I continued to wear for yard work, but it shows the point of failure very well.

Prefer look of red tag vans. White stretch material isn't appealing, please make that black again. Great shoes to skate in for me personally.

I should of wore these at home before I wen't to my one college class! I've been wearing the same size Vans forever and sad these will kill my heel. Hopefully a heal guard will save this shoe. I was super excited for my first slip on shoe and to dedicate it to longboarding, as my other vans turn into formal wear. These can probably be formal too! Please fix the tightness of the heal. I feel like tight is goos so a slip-on stays on while skating, but I shouldn't bleed for it! :(

More mounce to the insole would be nice, a little higher ar the ankle. Overall decent shoe, but I feel they should be $15-$20 cheaper to reflect the overall quality and support that's provided.
I'd also recommend:
Nike, Jordan, Columbia, Converse, PF Flyer
