I ordered these a week before my daughters birthday that lives in Virginia and they arrived within 5 days. We'll definitely order from this site more often

I remember my first pair of Van Doren shoesmy parents dear friend used to work for The Van Doren Company in Anaheim and bought a pair to metan suede with blue solelove them. This is before yhe "Van" heel logomy pair had the full last name "Van Doren"so, I've worn them for a large part of my life. My latest pair is the best paireach pair I purchase will be my best. Oh, and I am a skater and 59 years old!!!

This is such a sharp-looking shoe, looks good with jeans and dress pants.

Prior to a couple years ago, I always bought the regular canvas slip-ons. I needed something nicer to wear to work though, and got my first pair of these. They do look nice, and I was surprised at how comfortable they were. Kinda trashed my first pair wearing them so much, and got another pair of canvas ones. They just didn't hold up as well, so I got a second pair of the skate to keep nice, and still have my original ones to mow the grass in and stuff. Also recommend the water and stain shield.

They should come in high top and loose the flames but other than that i love them

I would marry this shoe if it were legal. Amanda Vans...how does that sound? This shoe has a more comfortable, responsive fit than the base model. Internal tongue straps keep the tongue in place without constricting your feet -- you can't even feel them. And when you want a more relaxed fit, simply remove the POPCUSH footbeds. The checkerboard flag on the side adds a nice visual touch. Why are you sitting there? Buy this shoe already!

Seriously VANS design team, make butter leather for every style and color. Most comfy pair I've ever owned.

I'm 34 years old, I've been wearing vans since I was 13 years old. I own a welding shop and I'm on my feet ALL DAY. I can wear these for 10 hours with no issues. By far the most comfortable shoe vans has ever made. Being a welder I have yet to burn through them.

I purchased the Lucid Skate Old Skool (Black/Gray/Atlantis) colorway. Really liked the way they looked when I first received them. Like the nice neutral color of the uppers while having little pops here and there with the orange. Also like the pattern of the bottom sole (black and yellow). Gives the shoe a unique look imo in a subtle way. Bought the shoe on sale. I also like the popcush insoles to help provide comfort and prevent fatigue. Liked the shoe enough that I just ordered a second pair when another sale popped up just to have another pair ready once I wear out the first. This is from a casual wearer's perspective and not from a skater so I cannot speak on skate performance. When comparing to the original Old Skool, these Skate shoes have more cushion that the original Old Skools. Not sure how that really translates to board feel. Might remove some board feel with a thicker cushion perhaps but I don't know for certain. But having that extra cushion definitely helps on those days where you do a lot of walking. They also feel a little more snug but that could because my regular Old Skools are more broken in. You do also have a slightly higher side wall as well. Overall, I recommend these shoes if you're looking for a shoe that provides comfort and with a little bit of color.

Got my wife a pair of the all canvas black makers slip on years ago & she loved them,& these slip ons right here are definitely an upgrade & she loves them!

These shoes are the most awesome! Love the Port Royal color way,it's my favorite color Vans puts out,I have the ol'skool pros in the same color way,but these slip ons are so choice!
