My husband ordered these (thanks, Zappos!) along with some other brands of golf shoes to compare, and selected these as the most comfortable. The shoe is supportive and the insole well cushioned, and they have the flexible upper of a tennis shoe.
They don't have the traditional oxford look of a classic golf shoe--they definitely look like tennis shoes--but some of the more traditional looks also had seams across the big toe joint and little toe area which rubbed, and therefore wouldn't be a good match for 18 holes. If anyone can ever combine tennis shoe comfort with classic golf shoe styling, they'll have a winner. But he likes these very much, and knows he can rely on New Balance for sturdy construction and long wear (this has been an issue with Skechers golf shoes in the past).

Runs small and not as wide and comfortable as my running new balance.

Too small for my foot. Other brands' 9.5 M I have purchased were fine for me - this was too short and too tight.

Not well made and not true to size. I think there is one factory in China that makes athletic shoes for many companies. This is the same problem I had with another company’s sneaker.

These seem to be true to size. The men's 10 1/2 wasn't available in this color, so I tried to go with a 10, knowing that I would only wear these in warm weather and with a thin, no-ankle sock. The fit was OK in the toe, but too tight in the width. As it turns out, I came to wish that the New Balance "N" was on both sides of the shoe, rather than just the outer half, so I upgraded and ordered a pair of the NB 574 Greens Golf Shoes - in 10 1/2.

I wear a brace on my right foot and I usually buy a men’s 10 1/2 extra wide sneaker for some reason these were not wide or long enough.

I Only wore them around the house for a day and was not happy. I ordered an extra wide size, but the toe box was still too narrow. Not comfortable at all.

Light and comfortable shoes provided you have the right shoe size and width. Unfortunately, the product description omitted disclosing that this model is not water proof or resistant at all. The first time I wore these shoes during an early morning round, my socks got soaking wet. If you like playing early in the day and in particular walk, stay away from this model. It's certainly not an all-weather product.

I couldn't get these on, so I have no idea about arch support.

This size was not accurate nor was the width. They were smaller and more narrow than normal. They did not have the size I needed and it was a hassle to try and find another pair.

New Balance simply not the same anymore. Toe box felt as if 2 sizes less. I’m a 4E.
Stopped buying NB running shoes several years ago . No needed new golf news. Wasted effort .
Thanks to Zappos, however. Always efficient with returns.
