These are a really weird color. I liked the style of them but when I got them the gray had really obvious purple/pink undertones

I ordered a size 11 and there is about 3/4" between the end of my big toe and the tip of the inside of the shoe. Less would be preferrable, however I also do not like having my toes pushed inward by the sides of the shoe as it tapers to a point, so I guess it will have to do. Prior to this shoe I wore only Sperry Halyards and Stripers in the summer and usually ordered a 10 1/2" in that shoe, which was perfect. Sperry's quality has tanked so I'm on the hunt for a replacement. The prospect of these TOMS being that replacement are promising so far. I took out the flat TOMS insole and replaced it with a standard thickness Superfeet Flex insole (with arch support!). I like the quality of construction of the TOMS particularly the stitched-on outer sole. One quality of the Sperry that I will miss is the ability to wear them sans laces. Not an option with the TOMS. I will update this review if these shoes do not live up to my expectations however for now, they are poised to be my go-to summer shoe.

These shoes were mostly comfortable out of the box. I followed other reviewers and ordered 1/2 size smaller (7.5 vs 8) and that was the correct decision in terms of shoe length. However I feel the shoes are a bit tight in the top part of the shoe. It would have been better if the laces didn't go so far down the shoe into the toe (also makes laces a bit short).

I purchased 8.5 based off the 50% Half-size too large rating. For my particular feet, I typically where a 9, sometimes 10, but very rarely 8 or 8.5, obviously depending on manufacturing differences. There's still a bit of wiggle room in the toe box even at 8.5 but the shoes still feel quite tight in the stock lacing. I did re-lace them using the standard criss cross style which is basically an inversion of the factory lacing. This immensely relieves pressure from the laces. Having worn them a couple times to work and brief walks, I can say they are comfortable if you prefer a close fit, kind of a hug for your feet. The width is a bit tight across the base of the toes and there is overhang of my big toe (at the base) where there isn't sole beneath it (not much, maybe a mm or two). I should also mention that my heel feels comfortably snug with no wiggle-room (not tight though). It's incredibly odd to me just how different various shoes are between sizes even within the same company. I have a pair of TOMS' Alpargata Rovers in 9 that are incredibly spacious, yet don't quite feel loose even with a ton of wiggle-room. Based on that I figured going down just half a size would be fine, but it's such a dramatic difference, it's almost too perfect of a fit: just a bit too narrow and just a bit too long. If I wore them in the winter with heavier socks they wouldn't fit at all.

My husband loves these! He used to wear their old Paseos and was looking for something similar and these are it! He doesn't require much arch support and he loves how the TOMS feel when they break in.

Size 10 M. A tad too short and the width is quite narrow.

Lightly worn and already the heel is detaching.

I am a true size 9 and these were extra long and wide /sloppy in the toe area.
