It is impossible to shop for shoes online for a 2.5 year old. He’s been wearing a size 7 saucony jazz that is wearing out so I tried these in an 8. They were too long and seemed really narrow so I exchanged for a 7.5 wide. They are super cute and my son seemed happy with them. The comparison pic is a size 8 sketcher on the left and a size 7 converse on the right. You can see how narrow the NB is in the middle.

My son has a chubby little foot and this New Balance shoe in wide is perfect! The color is a great match for all his outfits and he is able to walk well in them.

The shoes fit great!

My son does not have a fat foot, but the velcro strap for the top is too short. It does not stay strapped down over the top. We wear Stride Rite and Adidas with no issues.

My 4-year-old actually wore them. So hard to get him to try new things, even new shoes. I'm about to buy another pair for him in the next size up! Hoping for an even smoother transition. Very happy with these!

These shoes deliver the only thing I really look for - a tongue long enough for my 3 year old to grab. All others bunch up and frustrate him while learning to put on his shoes.

We bought these for our soon-to-be 2 year old. Don’t think he has wide feet so I ordered the M. They initially seemed a bit narrow but within a few days of wearing fit fine. They are so cute and he loves them - calls them his “fast shoes” or his “cool shoes”.

This is our second pair of these in a larger size. My son loves them and they fit well. Easy to get on and off.

Great fit for my 21 month old. He does trip or drag the toe. Easy on and off snd look great. We’ve tried see Kai run, Nike and others. If you want good stable shoes for toddlers these are great. These hold up well and he’s very comfortable in them. We’ve already bought them in two more sizes up to be ready.

I quit buying other brands... New Balance fit in and feel the best... Now I get them for my grandson and he can appreciate the quality and comfort of New Balance

They fit my toddler very well and he has very wide feet. Easy to put on. Velcro strap is great. He's two so he doesn't care much about shoe style. Overall I recommend!

The shoes are very cute and seem comfortable. I ordered 9.5 wide for my 5 yo with wide feet but the fit is narrow especially compared to other new balance sneakers
