Yet another case of overpriced, cheaply made goods. They look great in the box, but that's where the positives end. The leather wears quickly and the uppers are clearly glued to the soles. What a nice waste of $200+.

I'v bought these shoe recently and fell in love with them. They look great, they're comfy and everything you can ask for in theory.
Well after two range session one of my shoe ripped at the tip. I understand that this is something that can happen once in a while, so I went back where I bought them and got them replace.
Now 1 more range session later and 18 hole later, which I didn't walk (cart). The second pair of shoes sole is ripped 3 inches long .
For the price I was expecting these shoes to last me quite a while and to be much more durable.
TLDR: Good looking shoe and comfortable, but 0 durability.

These are the most comfortable and stable golf shoes I've worn, however after playing 2 rounds in them (in 90 degree, dry weather, using a cart) the stitching is starting to fray, which is very disappointing at this price-point.

These shoes look and feel great, no question. In my eyes, a return to the top aesthetically and functionally for Footjoy after a few awkward and overly technical years. Really happy with how they perform on the course, as well, a very traditional drop and stable feel.
My issue is with the durability of the shoe and perhaps the quality of the leather used. I have some cracks through the finish of the white leather appearing after only a handful of times wearing them. I am concerned that in another couple of months, these will look like an old, weathered pair of shoes.

A classic looking shoe and comfortable, however, after two full rounds the sole started to separate from the shoe. I returned them to the authorised dealer I purchased them from and received a replacement pair...hopefully it was just a one off pair that were not fit for purpose...

On first use the seam in the back of the shoe did serious damage to my heel and I'm having to treat an open wound now. Seems to me the back of the shoe should be a single piece of leather to prevent rubbing on the heel.

I've just gotta say I've been waiting for these to come back out for years now. When I originally wanted these ... many years ago now they took them off the shelf to re-engineer them so I didnt get my hands on a pair. So when I seen they where re-realsing these I was so pumped. These are a BEAUTIFUL shoe. I dont even want to wear them on the course. Not only that they fit my feet well.
BUT....
These are NOT comfortable at all and have worn these a few times now in the simulators and have not been impressed with the longevity of comfort of these cleats. I would not buy these again.. maybe a different style.

I have worn FJ golf shoes for 40 years. I purchase 2 pairs of the premier shoes in June 2023. Both pairs leaked inside the shoe when I played in the morning. I call the warranty department and they were very nice and helpful. They send me 2 new pairs of the same shoe. These new shoes leaked also like the first 2 pairs did. I called and told them about this and the reply was since the 2 year warranty was out on the first pair they FJ could not replace the new shoes. The new pairs should have the same 2 year warranty as the first pair but FJ said it does not work that way. The bigger issue is the premier line shoe leaks. I have had 4 pair shoes and each one leak. Since FJ will not stand behind their shoes l will look at other golf shoes. I just ordered some Sqairz shoes. I will be looking at New Balance, Asics and Callaway golf shoes.

Don't buy Footjoy!!! They refuse to stand behind their shoes or provide an even exchange after the shoes cause severe pain on the course. I will never buy their products again and I hope you consider avoiding them as well.

Sole separated on one of the shoes in only 6 rounds played. Sole is a two piece molded design that alloys FJ to configure in either a spikeless or spiked variant. I purchased a similar designed G/Fore shoe that has a one piece molded sole and it has no issues with double the rounds played. Good news is that my warranty claim was approved, however, the replacement shoe sent is a completely different model even though my shoe model is still in stock in my size (but it is now on sale). I was told that sale items were not available for warranty replacements so they can only replace my shoe (which is only two months old) with the "most comparable" new model. There are five models in this replacement series and I stated that one model is a closer match to my original but of course I don't get to choose so I have to accept what was sent. Large corporations just can't seem to pull off basic customer service. I hope their CEO gets a nice bonus and plenty of stock options this year

I had to return these shoes due to loose fit at heel. This shoe doesn't fit the same as other shoes I've purchased over many years why?

I am a college golfer, on the golf course 6 days a week. I love the sturdiness of the golf shoe when I play, you feel extremely grounded when you swing, and can feel the greens very well when using your feet. Normally, I would give a shoe with that description 5 stars. However, I have many concerns.
1. (Mostly pertains to college golfers) You can't expect to be comfortable in these shoes for 36 holes. I noticed that after 27 holes, my feet hurt quite a bit compared to adidas shoes.
2. The shoes (both feet) wear down extremely quick. Within 5 months of using the shoe (my entire fall season this past year), both the outsole of the shoe, along with the white leather part, fell apart from each other. Along with this, the leather on the inside of the shoe wears down and rips within the first 3 or 4 months. The foam tends to fall out at that point, and if you don't take care of the shoe, it will fall apart completely. Same to say about the spikes. After the 5 months of shoe use, the shoe might as well be spikeless. And it's impossible to get the spikes out to replace them. The insole of the shoe is not meant for golfers spending more than 10 hours on the golf course a week. My toes grinded through the insole within the 5 months I used these shoes.
3. The 2 year warranty that comes with this shoe is extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Not only do they consider the natural wear of the shoe, but they make judgements based off of how old they think the shoe is by the condition of the shoes in the pictures you send them. So if they think the shoes are too worn, or too old, even if they aren't, they won't even consider replacing them. Again, I used them for 5 months, with rips in the leather, insole, toe of the shoe, and side of the shoe, and did not get the warranty replacement.

Any sort of moisture on the ground in AM, and forget it. Back foot is slipping out every single time. All the tread goes north and south, no lateral. Worst pair of shoes i spent 200 dollars on. Get the spikes if you play in dew...only a 30 day return window too, no thanks, i'll take my 200 elsewhere for the next 25 years.

My review of this shoe is not the performance, but the appearance. The first pair i received was like a sandpaper finish on the toes, especially the left shoe. Not even any pebble finish there. Dirt would definitely never come off that pair. They sent a 2nd pair. Slightly better. But still a terrible finish for $200. Returned both pair. Footjoy took care of the situation quickly. No complaints with customer service, just with quality control.

I've worn Footjoy for 40 plus years and have always been a 10 1/2 extra wide. Ordered the same size in this be premier series and it was so big I could my thumb in the back of the shoe behind my heel. Not sure if it was quality mishap with the size or where the show is being made.

I was excited with my first Premiere FJ. Delivery was fast. I was disappointed though with the fit. I ordered 9.5 M. Left foot is perfect but right foot fits like W. Return is no hassle. Just waiting for my money back.

I am on my second pair of Premiere series shoes and the sole has start to separate on both pairs. It is not out of the ordinary for golfers to follow through on their right toe for RH golfer. Unsure why these won't last.

The stitches from the heel (side part) don't hold. They get loose only after 15 rounds or something. Expected more from Premiere Series.

The shoes look amazing, but the positives end there. I had blisters on my achilles by the 9th hole and the balls of my feet were aching by the end. I usually wear Under Armour which feel like slippers in comparison! I was measured up by the club pro shop so sizing is not an issue. Such a shame.

I'm a 3 times a week golfer and play in any condition. I have been wearing different footboys for over 15 years and these nice looking shoes are the worst I have ever owned. Stiff and the worst on my feet I have ever worn. My heels had blister within two holes the first time I wore them. The heel uppers dug into my Achilles so bad by three holes I was bleeding. I bought them because I wanted a better looking shoe when I play at the county club and wanted to look my best. So I was willing to pay some extra $$ for them. Big mistake! I did expect that I'd get a shoe I could walk 18 holes in the first time I wore them. I was fitted at a PGA shoe and they felt good there and ordered the exact shoe here.
I can't see ever breaking them in. The leather is dry and stiff no matter what I do, I cant image them getting better and they will never be "broken" in. If these were normal shoes I would have bought to wear for work, I'd expect some stiffness but these are first and foremost sports athletic shoes and should not be causing injury on the first use. I'm writing these review as cautionary advice to others. I'll take the financial hit, after all I did buy them. Buyer beware.
