It felt true to size, but the toebox area was so flat, it pinched my feet.

Like little pillows on your feet! I bought these shoes for work, but they are now my go to shoes for neighborhood walks. Out of the box, they were incredibly comfortable! I have many other ECCO brand shoes (which never disappoint) and these are just as comfortable and durable as the others. I wear a size 9 (medium width) and these fit true to size. I typically wear a thinner sock so if you wear a thicker sock then size up.

I have 2 jobs. Thursday-Sat I am an apprentice carpenter laborer & Sun- Wed I work in a warehouse 10 hours a day from 240am-1:10pm. I love to work even days I have off to recuperate I have to be doing some type of labor job. Lifti g heavy furniture,, moving boats lol idk I find something to do.. I cannot sit in one place for more than a minute without getting anxious.. It is the way I grew up. Sick, hurt foot, I still push myself. Anyway. On my 3rd day of working in the warehouse my foot started hurting even more. STABBING pains from in my arch through all my toes and a sharp pain running up my shin and ankle running all the way up to the upper back thighs into my lower back. I went to the doctor and was told I have plantar faciitis. My warehouse job offers employees a credit to purchase safety shoes etc. The workforce program didn't have my size available and using composite toes would affect my foot more than it is. I already own composite toe boots for my carpentry job and I can't wear it as it hurts my toes. As my foot progressively got worse everyday even with time off. I was eager to want to go back to work. I purchased this pair with my own money as the program credit wouldn't be enough. After researching the net for a week everyday this was recommended for those who plantar faciitis. Let me say this. The work program credit I purchased Spenco Rx inserts made specifically for my foot problem. These shoes I have work them for 4 days. I also had to throw my brace on to help while I WORK. but the 2 first days it didn't work for me. Sure it was comfortable but it did not alleviate the pain in my foot. limping as the day went on. It is winter time and my feet sweat in these. Never happens as I own so many types of shoes and boots using thick socks. I normally wear narrow footware because my foot is long and narrow. It has decent grip, light in weight but I wouldn't recommend it for those who suffer from agonizing foot pain. It is a nice shoe tho.

I carry the mail and theses shoes have been my absolute favorite. They are lightweight and not bulky, flexible and pretty responsive for cushioning.

The sizing is misleading. Calling a European size 40 a 9-9&1/2 was not helpful. I wear a 9 1/2 and these were small for me. I usually wear a 41 - but this says 10-10&1/2. These say 41, but are too big...

Usually wear 37 in Ecco’s but these are long. Don’t care for the color combination. Disappointed. But thank you Zappos for great service.

I purchased these shoes for a European Christmas market trip where I wanted waterproof sneakers and comfort. These shoes did not disappoint—my feet were so comfortable and there wasn’t a break-in period. I love them so much I just ordered another pair in a different color. I am now an ECCO fan!

I wore these for a 14k+ steps day in DC. I did not even ‘break them in.’ Yes, I know that is not smart but my husband swears by Ecco — he is right. Not sure how stylish but DC day of museums was all about comfort. Thank you Ecco & Zappos !

Too tight in instep, and too short at toes.

I really liked the look of these shoes but I had to send them back. The tongue was too long for me and rubbed the top of my foot.

Generally I am a 5.5M, but I wasn't sure how these ECCO shoes would fit me so I ordered both the EU35 and EU36. Turns out the EU35 offered the right fit, so I would say that ECCO sizing runs big (compared to American brands). These are excellently made shoes that offer the perfect combination of support and style.

Fits accurately. Very comfortable. I was looking for a black hiking shoe, and this is more black sneaker type, but with the aggressive tread pattern, it will work perfectly for me. I have ECCO sandals, and these are also a good fit. I am liking this brand.

I've had good luck with Ecco shoes in the past. These do not fit like the Soft 7 sneakers. The forefoot is on the narrow side while the heel is too wide (for me at least), and I was unable to tighten up the laces sufficiently to keep the heels from slipping. Also for my foot, the arch is too high. I do think these would be good shoes for someone with a differently shaped foot. They are very nice looking shoes and I really wanted to make them work.

I like the shoe. It feels good. One thing: the way the shoe hits in the back—just a little down from the ankle—feels like it's a little lower than it should be, but when walking, the shoe feels good and the arch is great.

I LOVE these shoes and everything is comfortable EXCEPT: the heel counter of this shoe (the back of the heel, not the bottom/insole, has zero cushion and is as hard as a board… reminds me of when I was a teen and suffered from “pump bumps”. I couldn’t walk in them. I am SO DISAPPOINTED, because the rest of the shoe is great.

I have these shoes in the gray and I LOVE them, so I ordered this color. These shoes are very stiff because of the leather, which makes the fairly uncomfortable.

The shoe is a slip on, too loose and you can't lace it . I found that it made my ankles sore walking in the shoe. Everyone is different this could be a well fit shoe on somebody else. I like ECCO, just not this pair of shoes.

These shoes feel like bricks on your feet. So cute, really wanted to like them, but if you like any amount of comfort and cushion when you step, pass these up.
