I normally like Ecco shoes. But I felt very unsteady in these shoes. It is as though your foot is slightly out of the shoe. So as nice looking as these are, I would not recommend them. I tried both 44 and 43. Neither felt right.
I just put my old Eccos loafers (different style) from 2019 and they fit like a glove.

Ecco sizes are very inconsistent anymore. This style runs more like a wide rather than medium.
