I hike a lot and many of my hikes are long dayhikes or backpacking trips, often in the desert or sometimes higher altitudes where the sun can be more intense. They are lightweight and really do help cool you off, especially when they are wet. But they don't stay wet for very long and I had to repeatedly get them wet again (with my drinking water... not good!) in order for them to be cooling in a hot climate. Even with that, I probably would have been happy with them overall if they had stayed up!!! I constantly had to pull them back up to cover my arms, pulling them nearly up over my shoulders to try to get them to stay up longer. But they would still fall right back down within minutes... my arms are pretty average for a woman and with the measurments listed, they should have fit. These will only work if you have large upper arms to keep them up. It's really unfortunate that there is not size that will fit smaller arms, which probably excludes most women and youth from being able to use these, which is sad to see and extremely frustrating because we enjoy the outdoors and want to protect our skin (and those of any kids in our adventerous lives) as well.

I primarily got these to protect my tattoos anytime I'm out in the sun or driving. The Soldana blue is super cute and my fave pattern, but all the colors I got are great. They fit well and are comfy - my bicep is around 12" and I got the S/M size, for reference.

These were exactly what I had hoped for! My skin is sensitive to UV rays, fair tone and often get sunburns. Got these for a bikecamping weekend, in hopes that I wouldn't sweat off this protection. These were amazing! I was very sweaty from high humidity but these felt cool on my arms. The color was a bit of a darker magenta, which I love even more! They were easy to pull off and dried quick when I didn't need the sun protection. They sat well on my upper arms (assigned female at birth, about 14inch upper arm) and didn't leave too harsh of a line. Order arrived quickly! Will likely purchase more, especially a new sun hat!

I have been using these sleeves for years and would not go to another brand, why should I?

I ordered Size Small and it's loose on me. The sleeve kept sliding down my arm. I am 5'2", 125 lbs. The quality of the sleeves are excellentthe fabric is not too thin, not too thick. When it stayed up on my armit did its jobprotected my arms from the hot Hawaiian Sun and kept my arms cool. I ordered 3 colors, black, white and beige. I will figure out a way to keep them up on my armsomehow secure it to my sleeves.

Gives great protection from the sun. Wear to work and while riding motorcycle.

We live in Tucson, Arizona and the UVSHIELD COOL SHIELD S/M RIVER REFLECTION. They keep my arms from serious burning in just 15 fo 20 minutres.

Feels way cooler than I expected. The sweat wicking is great and it beats sunscreen.

Excellent fit, cools better then I expected. Reinforced at the openings so they do not roll down my arm while moving around.

Really nice sleeves. I got some as a present, but the S/M is too big. I wish there were smaller sizes.

The sleeves are too large at the upper arms. Otherwise, they are nice, however, I can't wear them. They are not made for small framed females. I I wish they came in XS size. I have to return them.

Love the cool sleeves; however, keeping them from falling down a problem. I'm a senior aged woman. I purchased the S/M size. I'm 5'6 and weigh 130 lbs. I'm trying to find a way to make them work for me. Wish they made a smaller size. Anyone have any ideas about this?
