I have several of the adventure & sport hats (size medium) but I have been wanting to get some hats that were a little more stylish & dressy. I have to buy hats with chin straps as hats tend to blow off my head & was very happy to find the Vineyard Hat. I wore my hat for the first time last Saturday; it wasn't a real windy day so I had no problem with the hat trying to blow off. On a real windy day, I may need to knot the chin strap to be sure the hat stays on. The hat fits comfortably but not real tight. I bought the blue hat & like the color. You can roll the brim down to make more of a bucket hat or roll down the brim on just part of the hat for different looks.

I love this hat for the look and sun protection. I've lost it and bought another. I wear it for everything - hiking, gardening, in the ocean. But it shrinks when wet, and it needs to be washed occasionally because of sweat! So it shrink, and I had to buy another. I wish it were washable.

Nifty design allows hat to flatten for stowing but pop back into shape for wearing. Brim flips up for casual city wear and down for more sun protection.

5 stars for sz. L fit, breathable, lightweight, cute, looks feminine, hat stays on in wind, doesn't slide around, doesn't give me a.headache. 4 stars for ugly brown color. Ok for yard work. I already have the blue one, just ordered the lightest off-white color. I have been a Sunday Afternoons lady for many years back when the hats were still sewn at home. Thank you for different sizes of hats. The 'one size fits all' sizing doesn't fit!

I will keep this hat but be forewarned that the crown of the hat seems high to me; meaning it sits 1-2" off the top of my head, making my already rectangle face look longer. However, it keeps the sun off my face, is lightweight, attractive and much less expensive than the Walleroo hat.

I like this hat. It is dressier to wear around town then my usual gardening/hiking hat. I ordered a large based on website sizing, but it is a little loose for me. My only criticism of this hat is that there is no way to make it fit more snuggly. I. E., The chin strap does not attach to a band around the hat to enable tightening.

The hat is very cute but the adjustment to a smaller size did not work for me. When I tighten the band it changed the look to much. It is such a cute hat and I was bummed that I had to return it. My head is small enough that even within the size range it didn't work.

I ordered this hat in M. Even though I love the hat, it runs a little large. I have purchased another Sunday Afternoons hat which fits much better. Even though it's loose, it was unavailable in S. I'm thinking the chin tie will be used frequently!

My only comment is regarding the chin strap, which is part of the reason I purchased it.....when the hat is off, the chin strap chokes me.....any idea how to remedy that? Otherwise I love the hat!

I loved this hat since i saw my friend wear it and she let me borrow it small, can be compressed, and great for traveling

Liked this hat but it fits a little snug. Pretty color and light material.

Love the color (honeydew green). Just wish the chin strap was a little more substantial. It feels like a piece of coated twine. I have a smallish head and the medium size fits perfectly.

It is a very attractive size and totally fits its name. With its narrower brim its coverage is not total, but sufficient in most cases.

Super cute hat BUT that's all it's good for. If you fold the brim down to really protect your eyes and skin, it is too low and flops down into your eyes while you're driving or exercising. While driving, the back is uncomfortable against the headrest. Lastly, you can't wash it. If you need actual protection while driving or exercising, you'll need a hat with a stiffer brim.

I like the color. Hat was a bit large but sewed elastic inside the inner ribbon so it's fine.

I love my old Vineyard hats from 7-8 years ago!! But these new ones are different--a little too big for my head and a much bigger brim. I'm not sure I'm going to keep them. Do they come any smaller in inner rim size and overall brim size?

it has a hole in it. I waited a long time to get this great hat, it is perfect but was disappointed with the hole. I will sew it up, even with the guarantee because it is less of a hassle.

I ordered this after measuring my head. I wish I had ordered up. It is a bit too tight.

The hat has a good brim, attractive design. I love its color and the bead trim. It runs a bit large and there is no adjuster on the hat. The description did not indicate either way about the size or the adjuster. Which is disappointing. Will keep it, but disappointed. 3 stars for the hat. Minus 2 stars because of the fit.
