This is a beautiful hat, exactly what I've been looking for for years...except it's way too small! The size chart states that it fits up to a 23-inch head. Mine is 22 inches, and the hat is so tight it almost instantly gives me a headache and leaves a red mark on my forehead that lasts for an hour. Very very disappointed. Will return.

Love this hat!!! It's my go-to hat now for any outdoor activity. The natural color goes with almost everything and it's very comfortable. Fits my small head perfectly!

I love this hat. The brim is just the right size, not too big that it loses its shape but big enough to cover your face from the sun. I bought two, one for gardening and once I got it I got another one for the boat. The adjustable band to get the right fit made it a 10/10 for me.

I replaced the bead with a toggle which helps on windy days. By far, my favorite sun hat!

I love my new hat! The adjustable strap on the inside is perfect! I have a hard time finding hats that fit and that works out perfect! Also so happy with the packaging it came in! Was nervous that the hat would be creased or wrinkled but it was not, it was packaged perfectly! Would def buy more hats! Love it!

Seems to be a very well constructed hat. I measured my head before buying and although I measured correctly for small this hat is a little snug if I try to pull it down on my head. it's fine on top of my head and the chin strap holds it well. This is the second Sunday's Afternoon hat I've bought. Both are very good quality and uniquely styled.

Sturdy and cute. I bought this hat because the brim of my other sun hat flips up in the wind. This hat is firm enough to hold its shape! Impressed with the quality and performance as always. The chin strap and adjustable brim are great features. I did measure my head before buying - I am just within the size range so if you usually wear medium/large I would double check the size chart before buying!

I'm keeping it because the wide brim is fantastic, and it's stylish beyond gardening. Minus a star for one size - I have a small to medium head, and this just barely fits. If they had a larger size, I would have purchased it. Will also be replacing the bead with a toggle, per another reviewer, as the bead is useless, and doesn't stay in place.

The hat is perfect in almost every way. The brim is big enough for great protection but I can still see without turning my head. Shape and styling is wonderful. I recently attended an art show on a windy day and the chin strap was needed. So glad to have it. My only complaint is I get tiny splinters from the straw.

I have a small head and this hat fits me great! It protected me from sunburn when I was kayaking on the river for 7 hours in 80 degree heat. Only complaint is it's a little heavy and hot. No ventilation or air flow but the positives definitely outweigh those points!

Perfect shade hat. I have not had to use the chin strap to hold the hat in place, the sizing at the hat band works well to customize the fit. The brim is just the right size to shade my face.

I love the tradewinds hat. It fits snuggly around my head and has a sturdy straw brim that seems like it will withstand everything I bought it for. The leather cord is also a nice touch. I would definitely recommend!

craftsmanship and style are lovely. I've already gotten compliments. My only complaint - that I hope I can figure out a good solution- for is the pronounced hatband line the hat leaves on my forehead. Maybe it is a little tight around my head but of course I want it snug so it doesn't blow off.

I bought this because I work outside in the AZ sun. The brim is nice and wide, the hat is overall constructed well, and seems like it will last through a few seasons. It's not super light in weight like some straw hats which might bother me when the temperatures hit 110+. I deducted one star because appearance wise the fit looks a little big on me (it still stays put when adjusted though). I'm not sure of my head measurements but I'm 5'3 and my head is on the smaller side. ( )

This hat was sturdy and gorgeous but was unfortunately too small for my head. It is a bit on the stiff side, which is what makes it so pretty. The hat does not allow for folding or anything. I imagine if you accidentally sat in it, it would be damaged. I normally wear a s/m size and thought maybe a S would fit. Not so. I sent this hat back with the return paper for an exchange. (Hopefully I will hear back on that exchange soon)

This is a terrific hat that provides excellent sun protection and looks cute too. The only difficulty I have had is with the chinstrap, which does not stay in place. When it is even a little windy, I have to hold the chinstrap so that my hat doesn't fly off.

Absolutely beautiful hat and the workmanship is quality! I loved it the moment I opened the box! But sadly, it was too tight for me, even though I measured before ordering and fit within the size chart. It gave me a headache pretty quickly after putting it on. I contacted customer support to see if it would stretch over time and was told that since it's straw, it would not. So I sadly returned it and hopefully will see my refund soon. If y'all make this in a larger size, I will definitely purchase it! The style is just perfect, but needs to fit us larger headed ladies!

This is a beautifully-designed hat nice material, stylish with good sun protection, But it only comes in one size and it is too small!! I am a woman with an average-sized head. Please make a larger size!!

It would be the perfect hat for my gardening days, but REALLY small for an average size head. Disappointed.

Too small, didn't fit, had to return it. I have a medium-sized head, I am a generally medium-sized person (5'5, weight 140), but S/M turned out to be too S.
