I use hats whenever I leave my house, summer and winter. I am living in Israel, and the sun is always there waiting for me. For years I looked for hats which cover all the face and fit my head (which is larger then most Israeli women), and never found something that really fit and I could insert my long hair under also. Finally, I found such a hat on one of our visits outside and learned about this great company. On our first order we bought 3 hats for me and 3 more hats for the kids, and they are all great!!! They cover the face and neck, and my eyes don't suffer anymore from the sun!!! These hats are my angels. This specific hat style which I got in purple and lemon is the best for me, and fits excellent.

I have four sport hats in different colors - I live in Florida and never step outside without wearing one. Could not live without them. They wash beautifully (by hand in Woolite). I do frequently like to tuck up the back flap and find that the more recent hats don't hide the tucked-up flap as well as my oldest does.

I purchased three hats from Sunday Afternoons and gave one to my Mom, brother-in-law and kept one for me. My mom stays in the sun at least 7 hours daily and has given her hat rave reviews.

Terrific versatility : Wear back flap out or inside hat; Wear strap on windy days or wear inside . Looks: Brim size/plain design make it suitable for casual or semi-dressy wear. Buying another! Wish company would make it in all black. Company: Please consider as similar Adventure Hat too big brimmed For many occasions.

I use this hat while kayaking, It is light and comfortable, doesn't make me hot, stays on, and protects my neck.

My daughter is using this Sport Hat at summer camp. She isn't crazy about the style but she enjoys full protection from the sun when she uses the hat. That's a good thing.

I wear the sport hat to walk my dog and during all outdoor activities. Love that handy chinstrap. It is incredibly lightweight and -- special feature -- when you lounge in a high back chair, the back doesn't get in the way, unlike regular hat brims.

My friend Kacey and I wear our hats for water exercise at our local outdoor pool. The women's sport hat has good front and back coverage, is lightweight and dries quickly. It stays on well even on windy days. We give it five stars. Judy

I have worked for three years for an automobile rental company located at our local airport. This hat is my best investment. I drive anywhere from 40 to 60 cars a day and have to back them into parking spaces. I am able to see all around with no interference from my hat and when driving west in the late afternoon. I can also just tip my brim and the hat works better than any automobile sun visor too. We get a good wind from the ocean here and the adjustable strap keeps my hat firmly in place. All the workers at the airport know me by my purple hat. Thanks Sunday Afternoons for this wonderful hat.

I've bought a total of 8 Sunday Afternoons hats so far. Four of them are this woman's sport hat - L size and Cream/sand color. I like them in many ways: 1. They protect perfectly from sun burn/damage in California; 2. The rear sizing tape adjusts to fit everybody in my family; 3. The style, size and color are all suitable for everyday outdoor activities for everybody in my family (my mom, myself and kids: a girl and a boy); 4. The rear neck veil perfectly covers our necks - not too short, not too long; 5. The wicking sweatband lets air in so we don't feel sweaty; 6. My elementary kids take them to school everyday in their backpacks for about 2 yrs and they are still in good shape; 7. They are easily cleaned by hand wash using a toothbrush with soap..... We've been really enjoying and appreciating these nice sunblock hats!

This smaller size hat reduces glare, cools my head, and protects my face and neck from the harsh sun when kayaking, hiking, and riding my bike. Love it.

I am a mail carrier in Chandler, AZ and I love the Sport hat. It is small and lightweight and is fantastic protection from our HOT summer sun. I prefer it over the Adventure Hat because of it's size. No "dislikes"...works perfectly for me!!!

I work outside at a high school in sunny SO CA and have fair skin. I have been wearing these hats for over ten years now. I first found out about them at my dermatologist's office where they are sold. Now I usually order online to get them in my school colors. I alternate between two different hats throughout the year. I wash them by hand and they come out nice and clean. After I've worn them out, which is usually after two or three years of daily use, I wear them at home when I work in my garden or while doing other outside projects. These hats really do offer great protection from the sun from your neck up. I LOVE these hats!

This is the second sport" style sun hat that I have purchased. The size runs on the larger size - so a Medium fit me great (average female). I like how it is lightweight and has nice air vents for air circulation. Would buy this again."

I received this hat as a gift. Since I live in Florida (the sunshine state) I really needed a good sun hat to wear when I work in my garden. This is the perfect hat for me.

Finally, a brimmed hat that won't flop down over my line of vision (I'm a sun-sensitive hiker/birder). The back flap is an extra plus, as I have short hair. If it's not sunny and I get hot, I can tuck the flap up under the back. I love the vents, the slate blue color, and the fact that the hat is not tight. We're in Oregon; now I just need some sun!

I spend time outside very often with my young child. This is a great hat for protection and great color choices.

Provides good sun protection. No brim in back of head to interfere with tall backpack. Lightweight and packable. Chinstrap keeps hat on head in wind. Unable to wash out sweat and oil stains that spread around brim. Wish catalog had color that would mask the stains.

This is just what I was looking for in a hat. I especially appreciate the side air vents and the hole for my pony tail to slip through. I will be wearing this in the garden all summer.

It no only protects your face, it keeps the sun from shinning in your eyes on serves and overhead shots. Even keeps the glare from lights at night from blinding you.
