Great hat for hot days and sun protection. Ultra lightweight and great coverage. I wear it for dog walks and hikes. Wish it came in dark purple color!

The sport hat is great for hiking! The brim is large enough to provide shade without blocking view of the trail and the string keeps it on my head when it is very windy. I do wish it was somehow a little cooler.

When in a pool, at the ocean or in the garden, this hat has great coverage, fit, and is lightweight!

I have used the Adventure hat for many years. I have taken it on many hiking trips with me. To Tahoe, Mt. Whitney, Yosemite, places throughout the nation and Mexico. It kept the sun off of me and kept my head cool. I am running more and decided I wanted to get another hat from Sunday Afternoons and was delighted to see their Sport Hat. It fits well and I use it with a headband while I am running. Thank you Sunday Afternoons for another great product!

I love this hat, I got one for myself and one for my mom, she has very bad sun sensitivity and skin lupus so she can't be in the sun. Everything about this hat is wonderful!!!!!!

Recent cancer diagnosis makes a hat a necessity. From preparing for a half marathon to shopping at the outdoor market.. Just bought 4 hats, they arrived and I LOVE Them. I have never had a hat that can be adjusted to fit so perfectly.

I am an international birder and travel all over the world in search of exotic and interesting birds, habitats, and cultures. My Sunday Afternoons' Sport Hat is an essential piece of equipment, especially in the tropics. It protects me from the sun and glare, is lightweight, travels well, and has excellent ventilation in hot and humid weather conditions -- It's an overall great outdoor hat. It has traveled with me to India, Bhutan, Botswana, South Africa, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Panama, Peru, Costa Rica, Argentina, Mexico, and many states in the U.S. It will accompany me to Columbia, the Hawaiian Islands, and the Rio Grande Valley in 2012. My only negative is that the brim sports permanent creases over time, even when carefully packed.

This hat is absolutely awesome in all ways.. Fit, size and everything and as a bonus, it is stylish!!!!!!

This hat is perfect for my needs, working long hours in the sun in the garden. The sizing is adjustable so my hair can be in a braid under or through the pony tail opening. It keeps the sun off my neck and thus keeps me cooler. The large brim keeps the glare from my eyes. As I said, for my needs, it is perfect.

I don't really like wearing hats. I now live in Florida and must be very careful when it comes to the sun. This hat is the most comfortable, light weight, breathable, great fitting hat I have ever worn. I feel completely protected + comfortable. I now wear it at my tennis matches. So much more comfortable than a visor.

I am a hat person and this is the best sun hat I own. The neck extension doesn't stick when I am covered in sweat and sunscreen. The brim cuts more glare from sun/water/sand than any other hat I've tried. Love the hat!

I have had the hat several years and before that several other rain hats. This is the best. Every time I wear it, heavy rain, light rain, no matter, people come out of the woodwork, first to gawk, then to ask me where I bought it. And I tell them what I am telling you now: Bar none, this is the best rain hat made, at any price. And no, I do not work for them, but I sure love their products.

Bought this hat for hiking and it is WONDERFUL. I also use it when I'm gardening. Fits great, adjusts easily and breathes so well I almost forget I'm wearing a hat! I like that a ponytail works well in this hat and that it is packable. Super great for rafting, almost impossible to lose! Nice when it's raining too.

I love my Sport Hat's they are light, airy, cool, comfortable, easily washable and stay on with a chin strap. I have two and have worn them for several years. I wish I could find one to go with Navy and/or Red. The white with navy is nice but I'm afraid I'd get it too dirty. Anyway I recommend these hats to anyone who needs sun protection...they do that well!!

Seems like I buy a new hat everytime we go on vacation. They all have one or more good features. But this hat is perfect, it has everything: wide brim for good sun protection, neck protection, chin strap, lightweight, packable, and comfortable. And don't forget stylish. Absolutely love the lavendar color, beautiful and feminine. I have fair skin so sun protection is important for me since we love the outdoors. This hat was a nice treat in preparation for a trip to Kauai this year and Rocky Mountain National Park next year. We have been to both places in the past and oh my, could I have used this hat. I will have it for the future both on vacation and for outdoor acivities at home.

After serious skin cancer surgery, this tee fits the bill for the pool, around the home and out to lunch. Just ordered another one. Wish you had more colors.

I was so happy with the Adventure hat, that I purchased two Sport hats, and I'm glad I did! I compete in dog agility... the Sport Hat is by far the best hat for minimizing sun exposure AND still being able to see my dog through my peripheral vision (very necessary for a fast dog!) The hat stays put with the drawstring tightened, important when guiding my dog through the course. I've recommended this hat to everyone who asks about it. They are also very durable, even after many washings! Very, very pleased customer.

I own two Sport Hats. One is for working around the yard and garden, so it gets a little dirty. The other is for hiking or for outdoor events where I will be outdoors almost all day. The hat is lightweight and cool, The chin strap makes it secure in the wind. The hat protects my face, ears, and the back of my neck. It is essential that I protect my skin from the sun. Before I found these hats, I avoided being outdoors, rather than risk a sunburn. It is the perfect hat for me!

My husband was given this hat as a gift, and he liked it so much, we gave one to my 91-year old father who says it's very comfortable. He has had major skin cancer surgeries including 1/2 his ear removed, skin grafts on his head, etc. from the Arizona sun. He will wear this hat and likes the comfort of it.

I got this hat a while ago and wear it primarily for running when it is hot and sunny outside. Unlike other running hats I have owned it actually protects my face and back of neck rather than just my eyes. It is also really lightweight and ventilated. The hat has a pretty big brim but it still gives me enough peripheral vision to use weather I am trail running or running on the road.

After a nasty sunburn, my boy understands why I've been telling him to wear a hat while he golfs. This one shades the front and sides of his face as well as his neck. It won't blow away thanks to the neck strap. Now he is as hooked on wearing his hat as I am wearing mine. I do wish the material was absorbent.

I have photosensitive lupus. I have to protect my skin from the sun. I bought this hat to wear on a trip to China. It was wonderful. It gave me great facial protection, was lightweight therefore not hot to wear and packed very well. It fit well too so I didn't have hat hair" after wearing it. I really liked the chambray/charcoal color as it went well with khakis and denims. Thank you!"

I work in the fields in summer; making hay, picking blueberries, garden, etc. This hat is the best! Last summer was so hot with many days from 90-100 and it almost became part of my head!! When I head out the door whether to feed our sheep, work in the garden, or get on the tractor to go help with hay this hat is on my head. It's a lifesaver.

Regular hats did not prevent pre-cancerous lesions so I opted for the real thing. The hat is comfortable, cool, and provides lots of shade. I really like the ponytail opening!

This is the best sun hat I have ever owned! I bring the chambray colored one on all my travels because it packs down to nothing and protects me from the elements. This is also the most comfortable hat I own because of its SOOO lightweight and you can size it just right to fit your head. It floats too, so I always take it on the river!
